The latest Seasonal Events are now available in Gran Turismo 5, featuring a series of two racing events exclusive to Italian machinery with no more than 550PP and no better than Sports/Hard for this week’s time trial event, and Snow tires for this week’s drift trial event.
This week’s challenges are as follows:

Sucks that they’re going to have to start forcing us to use standard spec cars again for the TTs. I like doing my own chassis setups, but I’d rather run on a sloppy standard suspension then watch another Brera set an impossible time in a cloud of hacked out tire smoke… :(

Come they even cannot redo all their original circuits or make enough current gen car models to kill off the standards.
They just dont have the time for this :(
@ karelpipa: Where did you read or hear that PD can’t update their original courses? Especially after seeing Video of Apricot Hill With day to night transitions and the possible DLC orginal circuit Seattle RC shots? Just 2 courses, sure but still no source to confirm your claim, and not a real answer to HoneyBadgers OP.
@ HoneyBadger: Step 1 on PDs part, no GT5 SD transfer to GT6, is a small start, and atleast shows they realise “Cracking” of GT series save files is an issue that can’t be ignored in the Internet generation. Far as GT5 is concerned (TT Online seasonals/Online lobbies) PD doesn’t seem to be able to stay in front of it and have given in.
so these events are useless more hackers on time trial than ever and as for the drift event more WIGGLES what did PD expect we don’t wont to drift on snow and how come the regulations were made so these useless people could enter theses cars , very disappointed they just had some rear wheel drive events and they seemed to work very well why was it changed ???????????????????????????????????????
This calls for a ferrari 458, f40, or enzo along with a lambo of some type (preferably my 760hp mucialago sv) and a delta hf integrale. Oohh fun italian time hehehe
Hackers with their small genitals are ruining time trials for honest people. Are hackers on Forza too?
Hackers are everywhere, they just tend to make their presence more known on leaderboards (see FPS Shooters for example).
Hackers have always been in Forza, mainly just money hacks though. It is much worse on GT though, and still too noticable.
Indeed Umbra334, mostly are Money hacks, but it´s still ridiculous, the objetive is to get the Money by racing or selling paints and auctioning cars, i really don´t know what is the fun they find in hacking…. Same thing goes for GT5, do they really think people will think they are good, but in fact they are just making na idiot out of themselfs…
They don’t think they are better, they are just doing it to yank your chain or just because they don’t care what anyone else thinks, they are out for their own enjoyment. The solutions lies with PD in the form of an HP limit and they are unwilling to do anything about it now that GT6 is in the pipe. Kind of sad when you think about how much money they got from us for GT5 and how simple the fix is, but it is what it is.

Time Trial is once again spoilt by the inconsiderate hackers… I hope PD have extremely strict security measures in place for the long awaited GT6…

Used my Gallardo to peak at 32nd. I knew the hackers would come in, but I will just discount them for now.

Golded Monza in a Scuderia Red Ferrari 458. Quite a nice run.
I was going to use another 458 for the drift trial, but I didn’t see that it was on Chamonix. Would’ve been awesome to get away with using two 458s, but eh, the Lancia Delta fared pretty well.
Sad to see that the leaderboards are starting to fill with Fiat Pandas.
