this points system in drift is really the worst I’ve ever seen :-) I’m 900° wheel drifter and I’m smashed by some idiot in FF car with speed limiter on 41 kph on snow :D hilarious..

Same old sectors for the drift trials I see. Does no one else care that all of these events are ruled by turds with totally unrealistic cars and scores for the events (like 34000 in a 90’s Panda on snow as an example of their idiocy)??? Why is drifting on GT anyway? I’m fed up of the same old TT’s and DT’s. The only event of these I liked was the Chamonix DT, got 777th in an IMPREZA WRC, a car MEANT for these conditions.

TomBrady, you’re the one that wrote “WAAAAAAA”, and used the oh so mature insult “big baby.” It’s fair to say that you have some growing up to do.

Brunskill777 you make good points but I wouldn’t expect anything to be done about it until Gran Turismo 6, and even then it’s only a maybe. A shame really, drift seasonals have a lot of potential.

someone need to remember PD that Gran Turismo is still just a game.

You can’t make gold bullion from that SLS :)

Not bad seasonals. I’ve only completed the time trials so far, gaining gold in both. Because I got in early, I managed to get a top 50 time in the Chamonix one using a bog standard Impreza WRC 2008. I expect to be back several thousand after 24 hours though! I’ve never been a fan of the Drift Trials.

I would like to see some more Time Trials using unmodified cars with no tuning allowed at all, so everyone is on a level playing field. The Corvette prototype around the Nordschleife was a cracker.

I really enjoyed the recent Festive Season Seasonals with those events on Spa and the Nordschleife in changeable weather. More of those would be good, but with more laps again.

They should make a set of time trials stock with no tuning allowed along with the usual ones on a regular basis. Would be nice if you can change the basic settings such of the cars such as ABS level however.

So no Nissan N24 TT with a gold SLS prize? Really was exclusive to Japan I guess……I bought the DLC car for nothing. Well, I shouldn’t say nothing, but not what I intended.

I got a Gold Chrome chip today and I have an SLS to paint it. Who needs that time trail? Then I realized how stupid an SLS would look in gold chrome. Unless it’s that special Matte Desert Gold the SLS has in real life.

it’s not for japan time trial will be release 1st of January ..this is official message from gran turismo “”Gran Turismo®5: Academy Edition” Seasonal Event Opens on 01 January” ..so stop crying like little faggot :)

The past “expert” seasonal events are so perfect (except for the S.R.F thing) that I won’t be doing anything else until PD pulls them down.

    1. TomBrady

Yea honestly, I loved those events but SRF ruined them. Driving with SRF is so useless, might as well play Forza if you’re going to rob us of the realism like that
