PD need to focus on f1 I mean really only 2 official formulas in the game and they’re both ferrari’s
Kaz and PD have said multiple times that they wanted to have F1 but the FIA is absolutely ridiculous with the terms of an F1 license. The only reason you even have those 2 Ferrari’s is because Ferrari owns their own license.

I hope so! I really love the Gen6 NASCAR, with its flared wheel arches and all. That car looks good and it actually gets me excited about NASCAR and the last car certainly didn’t do it. It kind of reminds me of DTM, in how they are based off of street cars but still look about that much different. I think the car would be really fun to see in some road racing so I hope NASCAR adds some more road courses because I could really get into those.

I’m not much into drifting but a lot of the top scores in the ’80s drift trial are front wheel drive crap pots. PD needs to regulate RWD or at worst AWD only.

Why? Because driving a FWD carat 35mph in 5th gear with the handbrake on is NOT drifting. That’s why. Where is the skill in that?
I wanna drift the Tsukuba TT so bad…
Everytime I do a race on Tsukuba I just HAVE TO do atleast one drift lap lol.
I like the fact pd included NASCAR, just hate the cars. Too big and cumbersome for anything but ovals
They drive so nice on the Nordschleife, all that weight makes it planted, easy to find a tune, without extreme settings.
If their going to have NASCAR in gt5 they at least need to add Watkins glen and maybe a short track like Richmond or martinsville.

At least it’s not Bspec…I’d rather see anything than more Bspec. I’m not the biggest fan of PD’s use of NASCAR in the game, but it’s nice to see they are at least using the different race cars available. Now if they could only have a GT300 race in the Seasonals…

Does anyone know what you get for being the top score/time? Do they give you anything like credits or XP? I’m always around the top 1000. Cracked 250 once and still nothing from the game as far as achievements or anything. It would be nice… Always end up at the top of my friends as well they could give us something for that too!

I’m glad it’s Spa and not an oval. Oval time trials infuriate me. I can never figure out why I’m not fast in those. Same with iracing. It seems very straight forward especially when it’s a superspeedway but it’s not. Don’t really know what seperates the fastest guys from everyone else on ovals
All in the line brother… I wish I could find some guys to run motigi/Indy… That’s more realistic oval track racing. Daytona is fun but it a whole nother ball game when you get away from the drafting games. If your ever interested man I’ll run with you anytime. I just posted a 2.17 and change in the Spa challenge… Needs work tho :)

It’s good to see that Spa Francorchamps & Twin Ring Motegi are back in the Seasonal events.
Why’s that good? I’d like em every once and a while but it’s almost like they’re catering to the people who are too cheap to buy those great tracks, and they shouldn’t. If people don’t buy the tracks, they shouldn’t get to use the tracks, at least not this often. Those tracks are more than worth the money they cost and I get really annoyed when people enter lobbies and ask the host to change the track just because they’re too cheap to spend a couple of bucks.
Dude, I know. I’ve had the track changed a bunch of times when my vote wins for one of the DLC tracks. Who cares if not everyone has it, just have them wait 10 minutes. But because of that, I don’t get to race them as much as I like, so them being in the Seasonals is welcome for me.
Posts like these befuddle me. Variety is why they use them for seasonals and probably a little sympathy for those that dont have the track, because of budget constraints. It really only effects you if you let it.
As is if they’re playable w/o the dwnlds? Anyway, I golded the event in less than 10 laps… no suspension adjustment was necessary and I don’t even do NASCAR… ever. Nothing was learned there. NEXT!
As Pit Crew suggests, I believe they’re throwing a bone to the folks who didn’t DL these tracks, at the same time promoting them – “Hey, you can BUY these!”.
Anyway, apparently I wasn’t cut out to drive a Sprint Cup car…but I’m 3rd fastest Canadian at Tsukuba. Not bad, eh?

Yea I’d like a 5 race seasonal with them. Nascars are fun on road courses but the one in a spec is cool too except doesn’t it force you to use ASM? I hope this time trial doesn’t force you to use any aids. Actually time trials should disallow all aids, the gold times are super easy to get so why not disallow aids and use realistic tires. They usually do thankfully
