Polyphony Digital’s Tuned Infiniti G37
February 25th, 2009 by JordanIf you’ve spent any amount of time playing GT5 Prologue, you’ve surely noticed the “Tuned Nissan Skyline Coupe (V36)”. It offers just enough modification to the standard car’s shape without going overboard, and the result is beautiful. Of course, much like the GTbyCitroen, it was designed entirely by Polyphony Digital, and it was not until last year at SEMA that we learned this car will be brought to the “real world” by Japanese tuning shop Zele Performance. We’ve now got the full details – Zele is actually offering up the official body kit for Skyline Coupe/Infiniti G37 owners everywhere, but it doesn’t come cheap. For the rest of us, though, it provides an interesting look at yet another car that made the jump from our TV screens. Take a look at the photos below or visit Zele’s website for all the details.

I remember that announcement. That thing looks dazzlingly beautiful. I should go buy 1 right now. I have the money. Amazing. Wonder if it has a 580hp V8 lol.

PS. Is it just a G37 with the bodykit or does it have a kick?

I agree, I absolutely love it. You bring up a good point about the engine (it’s actually a V6), though – Zele didn’t do any modifications to the engine for the car in these shots – it’s strictly a body kit. I’m sure they already make quite a few parts for the G37, though, so it should not be hard to turn it into a real beast…
