    It looks to me some pretty hard changes like from spitting to thunderstorm, from light snow to snowstorm. I’m pretty sure there will be in between, hope so but even if not i don’t care. This looks plenty good enough to play.

    I love it how they are showing just a little more each time.

    I don’t think this game will be perfect but even with previous releases having some pretty nuts bugs (flying escudos and falling through holes in the scenery) GT has still been light years ahead of anything else. And now there is DLC or bug fixes so things can only get better.

    So we have stunning cars, stunning tracks, and now some awesome weather…then you crash ;o) Just ragging ya’ guys, this looks great. Very impressed.

    However, I’m not so sure why people think that them removing that statement meant it was going to be a surprise. The whole “put the news up” and then “pull it down again” does not happen like that by accident. It was a staged stunt, which appears to have fooled many people!

    For those that didn’t see the video during the live stream you will be amazed when you see it. The effects are really great pd captured the essence of each effect properly. Even though it was a low Rez video it was easy to see the the behavior the water droplets on the windshield. The snow frost on the windshield, just beautiful.

    I have been waiting for months now just to see a legit video/picture of one drop of rain, sleet, or snow in this game and I must say, wow. Definitely impressive.

    Well, one can hope that the weather vid and shots hit the official GT site REAL soon! I don’t want to look yet but reading the comments on here and on GAF was really great! So much excitement!!!!!!!! It’s really on the damage situation that we are waiting on (final build etc etc).

    No comparison to any other game right now…the rain looks so real, looks exactly like how it is in real life when you’re driving on the highway when it’s pouring.

    GT forever. Forza fans, you have to give it up to GT after that. i honestly expected the weather system to be similar to f1 2010, but to my surprise its even better.

      Same here. When it went to the first interior view at night with the rain hitting the windshield I got emotional. Thank you PD for listening to your fans and putting so much into this game.

    Even though those screen caps look really blurry, that rain on the windshield looks fantastic!!! Also, what is that in the last screenshot? Is that a Willys???

      I’m sure, some MS-developers are eating their hats right now, because GT5 is so much better than what they planned for FM4! muhahahahaha :-P

      I agree; this game look PHENOMENAL–is that a VW bus in one of those screenies? However:

      @ infamousDee–FM3 an arcade racer? No. When using advanced settings, I’ve been more challenged by the physics in that game than any GT game that I can remember. And I have thoroughly played them all.

      And Reims is right. Just beccause this is a fansite doesn’t mean that the first thing you fanboys should do is go bashing other stuff. Know what that is? It’s called insecurity.

      Because for the first time ever, your little “God’s gift to console racers” has some real competition in the market. And don’t think that because GT5 is finally due to be released, the battle is over. FM4 is coming.
