Barely 24 hours after it arrived in the game and was added to the GT World Series Exhibition Season 3 schedule, the new Grand Valley circuit has been taken off the calendar due to a glitch.
The most significant update in the 12-month life of Gran Turismo 7 is now available, with v1.29 bringing some revolutionary features and plenty of new content that includes an old friend of the series.
The official PlayStation Japan YouTube channel posted a new video early this morning, showing off new footage of Gran Turismo 7 running on the PlayStation VR 2 headset. It offers the best look yet at GT7’s VR Showroom mode, which allows players to explore both the exteriors and interiors of all the game’s cars in a 3D environment.
Legendary original circuit Grand Valley will return to the Gran Turismo series this week, with the course included in the already huge v1.29 update, due February 21.
Gran Turismo 7’s February 2023 update includes the public debut of GT Sophy: a new artificial intelligence that you can compete against in a free “Race Together” special event.
As we already knew, Gran Turismo 7’s v1.29 update will be arriving on February 21 and bring along PlayStation VR2 support for the title (on PS5). However GT series creator Kazunori Yamauchi has now confirmed that it will bring other content — as expected — and promises it will be a “big” update.
