Currently Ranked 247th havent been back at it in a week so i reckon i can get my time my time down to an 18.6 maybe.. Thou i must point out that i DONT use ABS or any other aid.. 23rd Fastest in Uk an second fastest with abs0 an no aids an 3rd fastest in the TT with no abs0.. I can not drive with abs on an active steering.. My mind wont let me.. I want a TT for the guys who dont want to use any aids please.. I know their quicker guys than me but i want to see how much quicker they are without their toys…

I have to admit but I’m not feeling this set of SE’s. I love seasonals but I get gold and that’s it, whereas I usually try to beat my score.

In case anyone from PD is reading this, here’s my GT5 DLC wishlist:

    Cadillac ATS
    Aston Martin One-77
    Aston Martin Rapide S
    Porsche (all models, please)
Ford Mustang GT (both the V6 and 5.0 V8)
    SRT Viper
    The new Focus ST
    The new BMW 3-series
The Dodge Charger (it would make for cool photos if you added the police version too)
    Camaro ZL1
    Audi RS5
BMW M6 (and the new M5)
    Rolls-Royce (any/all models)
    Mini John Cooper Works GP
All generations of the BMW M3 (premium, of course)
Oh, and did I say Porsche (it’s worth repeating because we really want Porsche and are missing a huge number of performance cars by not having the brand in GT5)

P.S. I’m happy with GT5 as it is. But those are suggestions, just in case you are reading the forums and are wondering what the fans want from GT5. I understand that some of the cars (at least the Rolls-Royce) aren’t really built for racing, but having them in GT is important, just as the very first M-B, Ford Model T, and others were included.

All Porsche´s? You even imagine the time it´d take for PD to make ALL PORSCHE´S?? PD doesn´t even have the license, unfortunatly.

    2. Pit Crew

Porsches 20 or so year relationship with EA is one reason we probably wont see that car or cars in GT series anytime soon.

Sure its easy to fully blame EA for the whole Porsche issue, but Porsche mgmt has a say n the situation, if they wanted to, but mostly chooses to allow EA 100 percent freedom in the use of the License and how it gets implemented into Car based titles.

The GT-R is Nissans (Kaz) answer to The 911. They (PD Kaz Nissan) wont be quick to be upset about not having Porsche, in GT series, as they may well believe the R35 is a better car.

    1. infamousphil

+1… Porsche is definitely missed. RUF just ain’t gonna cut it. The Jag XJR-15 and Wiegert Vector from GT2 are sorely missed.

Good luck with the rest though, it just ain’t gonna happen.

These Time Trials are quite frustrating. It took me half an hour to get gold with the Vette; however, it is still way too far from the guy who is in the first position.

The recent update put a bad taste in my mouth, regarding all the radical changes to what I was used to, at 500-550 pp, but all is forgiven, as I’m now driving all tracks once again, not just the Nur anymore as I did all last year, not that there is anything wrong with that, but I am totally enjoying piloting the F1 around all the tracks in this game. The road cars are just hard to tame, whereas I find piloting the F1, even with no AIDS and no ABS, is just so rewarding, yes I do kill myself when I crash hard, but it’s just more awesome to feel a certain confidence at the wheel, that road cars were just no longer doing properly, something went awry with 2.10 I can’t put my finger on it, no matter. Patiently awaiting the next best thing on the PS4 later this year.

I’m even contemplating getting Euro Truck Simulator 2, at least there is some fine point to point adventure to be had in that game. And customize livery the works!

  6. FireEmblem10

I used the Starion for both, seemed to work well for the TT, but not so much for the Drift. Will try to get some use out of the 240RS Rally Car for once…

  7. infamousphil

Cain’t even paint the dang thing? So over the hype 24hrs after getting one.

Thank you PD for the historic rally RT. Because I’m a collector, I’ve got all the qualifying whips. But I don’t remember driving any of them after the initial purchase setup session. Let’s see which one turns out to be top dog.

  8. GTHEAD87

Its good to see rallys appear in the DT & TT. Nobody ever does rally online which is so annoying. This aint a complaint but i think the rally part of the game is almost pointless. Without online seasonals there would only be rally events in the special events which kinda suck. Some good point to point TT would be absolute amazing but i dont think they would waste thier time creating them.

    1. rallymorten

Have to say this, I happen to have a rally championship.

Anyways on topic, hoping my PS3 will finally stop saying there’s an error when trying to log on (no, it has nothing to do with updates or stuff) so I can do this and finish some other seasonals :)

    2. JeremiahTB

You may be right about PD needing to take a lot of time to create a more involved Rally Seasonal like the Special Event…but if you think about it, they should have a bunch of them already lined up sitting on Kaz’s flashdrive or something. There is so much variety sitting there in the game, it just seems that they are not being creative enough when it comes to events. The content is there, PD; just think outside the box.

    3. infamousphil

I hear you GTHead… A rare breed you are? Me and most others can’t enjoy eating the other guys dust, literally. That’s why I prefer the online TTs, it seems, at least more realistic. lol… thinking how many would drift off and tumble off Pike’s Peak’s Devil’s turn behind the guy ahead of them.

  9. challengerrt10

PD give us a seasonal for all genreations of Corvette not only one time trial!!!!

There is over ten Corvettes in the game, four generations have got premium cars but we don’t have any designated event for them!!!

So stop putting events we already got in A-spec and start implementing something new!!!

    1. SZRT Ice

Something different & out of the ordinary! Oh no! Are exclamation points really such a threat? I agree with ChallengerRT10.

  10. KingDejch

I will of course be driving this event with C7 Vette. :) It’s a great morning as i have worked out and had a great breakfast. But, there is always but ain’t it, i have to go to work now and 6 hours of pure bordom so i can come home and finish this event. Well sometimes you have to take a little bit of bordom, to have a great time later. :P

  11. mr_pepps

Oh for a day off work. These events, coffee, toast – a quality way to start the day.

Instead I’m on a train. Fed up. Heading to work where some douche is going to ask dumbass questions during a presentation I have to give.
All the while I’ll be looking at the huge projector/media set-up and be thinking how cool it’d be to set up my ps3 and gt5 right there. It’d make for a far more rewarding presentation.
“There will be no performance review data to go through today, instead here’s me hurtling down the back straight and power-sliding the hairpin of Trial Mountain in a bright orange RuF! Any questions?”

  12. Whodoyouthink

Wish I could drift. Well, drift WELL. Though since we can’t tune it (still slightly mad about that), shouldn’t be too bad, assuming it’s well versed and is set up for drifting just as well as it’s set up for driving.

    1. TokoTurismo

…. I hope you’re being sarcastic @JeremiahTB, which I think you are. From what I see in the game, the SRF is usually foreced off in TTs and DTs…

    2. SavageEvil

Is SRF actually working? It’s been on since a few seasonals but for the life of me I can’t tell if it’s working since I can still lose control of my car.

  13. TomBrady

Before 1989? Awesome, they made a group B rally TT.

Still I guarantee some douches will come on here and complain about the seasonals like usual
