I think standard cars interior view will be at least as good as gt5p. because none of the exrta dials work only speed and revs. simple standard.
in premium all guages will work and light up at night.
i say cockpit view for all but not fancy.
premium is the next step up complete photo realism
with working everything.

Well brothers and sisters everybody knows that Kazunori is a master of creation simulation and we love his work.But there is one missing thing that gt5 do not have and makes me cry.Kazunori forget to put a one beautiful camera that Forza3 have. Everybody love the grafics in gt5 but WHERE! is this camera that you could enjoy the beautiful grafics from outside the car.I meen that you could pull the triger during a race and look around every side and see whole boody of a car, like they instal in FoRza3.Inside in the cockpit view is perfect you can turn around camera on left end right . Why they do not instal this view:(

I don’t get why all the cars in gt5 having a cockpit is so unbelievable. Before it was speculated that standard cars wouldn’t have cockpits I’m pretty sure everyone thought all car would have a gt5:p like cockpit view. Its very possible and not really unbelievable at all if they do. The answers is still not very clear and we wont know until the game is released. Ive yet to see a standard cars cockpit…
That said, the game looks great so far!
You do know that Standard cars are nothing but vehicle models ported from Gran Turismo 4, don’t you?
Looks so good! Just wish there was some fix for that shadow mess going on when the car goes under the trees. I’m not trying to be funny but that almost made me dizzy, it was like a flickering strobe light. I guess the standard cars lack of interior view won’t be so bad since I won’t have to worry about the crazy looking shadows! :)
Finally, a driver who can correctly identify which pedal is the brake….I can watch this without cringing lol
The course itself looks great, although I’m not very good with chicanes. I can’t wait for tomorrow, and I can’t wait for Nov. 2nd :D
Another Premium place wasted for a car I wouldn’t even want to drive to test it in real life…..

Nice to see that annoying time limit seems to be removed from this demo version. Now this demo would be great on PSN. It’ll never happen though damn it!
The game looks very impressive, and I’m sure it will be fun, but if 800 cars are going to be standard, then they need to make a better camera of the car. I’m not going to be racing starting at nothing but the road, which is fine for a lot of players, but not me. lol

You *can* view the car from the exterior in this game. They just haven’t shown that camera angle in this video. :)

This is EPIC. Any other PS3 racing game including this track just looks like rubbish.
I usually cut the corners in F1 2007 so I won’t have to see the track for much longer, lol.

Is that Volvo a premium model, or has that issue already been resolved?
I was wondering after watching this video, how distracting the shadows cast from the trees onto the interior of the car are in person? I understand it could be video of a video making it worse, but the shadow reflection shadow reflection… to me looks really distracting. They do look great on the ground though!
I’m sure that it wouldn’t be as visible to the naked eye. My guess is that the camera isn’t capturing all the frames that one would see in person – hence, the strange (and as you said, ‘distracting’) shadows.
So … the Volvo C30 STANDARD or PREMIUM ??????

NONE of the cars in any of the demos are standard
Disappointing, its still unrealistic to spin a car. Around the 1 min mark, he goes into the corner, and starts to turn the car, and doesnt lift, yet the car corrects itself in what I think should have turned the car. So, the cars are still unmovable beasts like GT4….
Disappointment, you’re saying it’s easy to spin a lightweight car by doing a pit maneuver. And you forgot it’s driven by an A.I. and not some drunk idiot who’s getting chased by a cop.
Your comment doesnt reflect the fact that the Volvo C30’s layout is front wheel drive or all wheel drive.
Its look to me like the AI hass become nice and competitive/aggressive.

Having raced round Monza in real life a few times, I can say it is perfect, love it!! Best addition ever..
Lucky bugger! I’ll take your word for it. Its suprising how much narrower the track looks with ‘normal’ cars going round it rather than F1 machines.
The cockpit does make it look very realistic.
Not sure but it seems there isn’t any crazy slipstream effect. Hope I’m right!

man volvos have a lot of grip and torque. did you see how quick they were off the line? wow :p
yes they do. they get 237ft-lbs of torque from a turbo inline 5 that puts out 227HP :). P.S. 0-60 is 6.5sec
agreed, safe to say cockpits all round with only the premium models having the crazy detail shown and the 360 movent inside the car.

They probably made it premium just so that there is a pretty dashboard to keep you entertained while you’re putting around the track in some Volvo.
