It's a good base to start with and apply to cars as they come up. I could probably add it to my list of projects if you don't mind me copy/pasting what you did there and adding to it.
OOOH, I got a top of the page, I could post it here.

It is a drift car. It's probably set up to slide just a little bit. The sport soft tires should help some but not much. It's not my brand of beer because as far as I'm concerned, once you put the power down you should be going forward quickly, not making smoke.

Yeah, as long as you keep it nice and smooth it's actually not bad. Tip: Don't even think about touching the handbrake and entering a corner at the same time. Not like people would be doing that but just in case.

Ummmmm.... Me... I love this car and combo! But in stock form, with cs tires, it makes for a poor drift car.

Whaat? Noooo. :sly: I only know this through very thorough testing.

In all seriousness, on Sports Soft tires and with everyone driving smooth the battles that will take place on Sunday will be incredibly fun. :)

I think you made three assumptions, I support only the first.

I believe most everyone will be on Sport Soft tires.

    Beyond that... Ummm....

You just need time is all, soon you'll move up in the divisions. :)

Aww Handlebar. The S2000 isn't that hard to drive on with Sports Soft and it slides very little. Just enough to get it around the corner. It'll all work out fine with practice, patience, and racecraft. :)

Ok IROC fans, I got two cars set up, The 2013 Boss 302 Mustang, and the SRT Dodge Challenger. I got too set up 2-3 more cars for ill end up doing that tonight when I get home from school. but for the guys that will race in the IROC race night Friday nights here are the setup rules...

Its a one make race with set HP and weight limit. HP 522HP and weight set too 1400kg
every car we use will need to be setup 100% the same and here is the set up

    *Racing- Medium tires

    *Racing-Hard suspension

*The custom 6-speed trans, max speed only set too 217MPH

*engine tuning stage 2, then semi-racing exhaust and the racing intake (so far that's it for the two cars I've got tune) but still working on that with the other 2-3 cars I want to add into it.

    *down force set too 17

*add/take weight too 1400kg, stage 3 setup with windows

if anyone has any ideas with it let me know. we'll do a 20-25 lapper at Daytona for a test night this coming Friday

    @jaybocc2,
    Thanks for your interest!
We would love to have you in the league. Here's what you need to know and do in order to join:

We run a clean league by enforcing a strict penalty system based on the S.N.A.I.L. OLR (which is a modified version of the GTP OLR). We also expect all of our drivers to know and follow The Good Racecraft Guide.
Please become versed in both if you aren't already. Once that is complete, please follow the steps below to complete your entry into the league:

    1. You take the S.N.A.I.L. OLR and Racecraft Test

    2. You run the Time Trial and submit your information by midnight EST on Saturday night if you want to race this Sunday.

    3. @JLBowler PM's you with your assigned Division that we feel will give you the closest competition. You will be added to the drivers list.

    4. The Race Director or Primary Host from the corresponding SNAIL Division will send you a PSN friend request. Sunday night you will need to sort the online lobbies by friends and join the lobby named 'snailracing.org Division_1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7' based off your placement from JLBowler. That lobby will be where you race Sunday.

    5. You drive fast and clean on Sunday

The original post has everything you need to know about what to expect on Sunday night and what you will need to have completed in order to be competitive. If you have any questions, please feel free to post your question on the thread.

If you have a preference for car/wheel colour and racing number, please follow the instruction contained here.
To avoid duplication, the currently claimed combinations can be found here.

During the week we run a number of different events, we encourage all SNAILs to join as many as possible.

    Welcome to S.N.A.I.L.

Sorry @jobyone forgot this was a question that needed answering. The form is closed for all driver submissions at 11 eastern on Monday nights as per the post linked in my sig.

Think of this though, some Area 51 (D1) drivers use a DS3. Right now I'm sitting nice and cozy in D4 with a DS3. Its just a matter of practice and breaking limits, which comes over time. :)

Thanks for making your Prize A and Prize B selections. It only took me an hour of :banghead:, but the January 19th lineup has been posted. (I usually put a gtpflag after this weekly announcement, but not tonight.. editing complex posts in GTP12 is an absolute nightmare).

Early testing results for lap times with the new combos.

AEM was 2:10 and change so we're looking at five laps there.
Hyundai was 2:07 and some change so we're looking at five laps there as well.
