I can start one (and had planned on doing so), but won't be able to put it together until Monday afternoon at work.

Also, I'm betting on the 4, 31, and 88 in the Unlimited.

You mean to tell me the fans decided the qualifying order? Oh dear...

No wonder NASCAR doesn't listen to the fans.

Not sure why the rule is that way, but NASCAR wasn't thinking on that one.

With those 3 cars being locked in to the Daytona 500 starting grid, they don't even need to be in the duels since the only thing they'd be risking is getting wrecked.

The "reasoning" behind the rule is the one-engine per weekend rule. Anyone that changes an engine now will have a fresher engine during their Budweiser Duel race, which could affect their performance in that race. Since they have a fresher engine than their opponents, they go to the back for the start of the Duel race, and in the 500.

How does Terry Labonte even get in year after year?

He obviously didn't win a pole last year, so it's some sort of past-champions provisional or past-Sprint Unlimited (or Busch Clash/Budweiser Shootout) race win qualifier stipulation.

If you'd like to do it then feel free. If you need help, I'd be glad to.

EDIT: ****, thought I was editing the last post

Terry Labonte becomes NASCAR's first retirement for 2014. Runs 2 laps.

Single file. I don't mind. Don't want them tearing up early. Yet the bottom looks alright...

Still wish NASCAR embraced the 2 car tandems, would have made SS races way better to watch

Wasn't too bad. They did pick based on final practice speeds.

Don't worry about Danica guys, she's planned this all out. She's gonna fall back far enough to be the first car to cross at the checkers.

Also, Terry LaBonte ran one lap before parking.

I like how people on streams are complaining. I'd rather have 50% race single file so we have a full grid for the final then a big one tearing everyone up early on.

Remember Dega last year, everyone survived until a 2 car crash at the end eliminated any chance of a great finish

He had surgery (Gall Blander if I recall). I'm guessing you didn't like him?

Didn't know. If Gen6 can overtake on plate tracks now it would be perfect.

EDIT: I'm liking this.
