And many of Newman's recent wins came at flat tracks.
2013: Indianapolis.
2012: Martinsville.
2011: New Hampshire.
2010: Phoenix.

Does Indianapolis really count as a flat track?

Well. Time to tune in to the Kyle Busch show! :grumpy:

How about watching the race at least to half distance before we slap that on?

Pretty impressive how Keselowski has been able to stay right behind Logano for the race so far.

edit: There goes Harvick.

Well who ever said it last week was right, if you want rain in your area just have nascar come to town, it's been raining over here since since Friday and stopped early this morning.

Damnit. I can't timezone. I thought I had an hour until is starts - turns out I've missed an hour already.

Doesn't look like I've missed much, according to the Autosport commentary. Would that be correct?

I heard them say on tv that he wasn't maintaining minimum speed so Nascar must have had him park it.

not anything major

I don't understand how Morgan Shepard, who was 7 mph slower in qualifying, made the race, but two guys who qualified mid-30s didn't.

NASCAR really should ditch the points safety net and make it the fastest 43 get to race, regardless of who misses out. That's what I thought the point of knockout qualifying was. The guy who qualifies 46th should not be in the race.

Tried to find it but I thought I had read somewhere that he used provisional like owner points or something to get into the race today.

DW(I think) during qualifying:

"Phoenix is one of Danica's better tracks"

Graphic on TV just now:
"Involved in caution during all 4 Phoenix starts"

:odd:

Also, it must be killing Fox to air a race sponsored by NBC.

Probably parked it so he wouldn't miss the early bird special.
I was going to make that joke, too.

Only one caution per race is good for her.

EDIT - Spoke too soon!

Silly Larry Mac, you just said Bowman joins Shepard as the only car off track, but 42 cars are still running
