You say it's manufacutored supported but considering they only have one car and basically half a day test - not very impressive compared to Team Dynamics if you ask me. They just want their car/brand out to new people, they probobly just give them the cars and walk off.

Well they are a Whole new operation from scratch, Team Dynamics on the other hand have been around for over a decade when Honda gave them Factory support, apples to oranges.

Because it's a massive grip advanatge having AWD in wet, this was the case it was allowed in the 90s Super touring with the Audi A4 Quattro.

No... probably car set up issues. After all Collard on normal tyres was faster than Priaulx on softs.

Yeah that's a fair point. But I still think a factory backed team would get both cars out, considering how early they stated their entry into the series.

That was one of his three Soft sets, you'll see the same from other cars through the season. Tactically it was a good move for Race 2.

WSR have played that well with Priaulx. He can streak away in R1, bag a win, and with clean air and softs can set laps for a grid slot at the front of R2...

I like it, especially with ballast mixes things up.

Instead of Collard starting on pole with max ballast, he's on the 3rd row (or 2/4th not sure) which mixes it up even more.

Think it will work better after this round where people at top of the table will have more weight,which should keep the top of the table changing every event

Booooo. Can't believe how quickly Andy dropped off the pace, his start and run down to paddock hill didn't seem stellar. Collard is saying he could see chunks of rubber coming off Priaulxs tyres before he got past him.

Congrats to Collard, (Rob and Ricky!) BMW win anyway, so I'm happy.

I have seen tiny little bits of it like on that 3-part Touring Car Legends programme that was on ages ago on ITV in October. But not all the races in full from all the years. I did see it when it was on Grandstand but I was a neutral watching it so it all sort of passed me by. I am far better placed to understand it all now being a fan since 2001. What's going on and who they all are.

And I have a book which I bought second hand written in 1997 by John Tipler called Touring Cars but reading about it isn't the same as watching it.

Anyway, still a good race for WSR. And as you can see from my Avatar I am a Jason Plato fan so good on BMR for a much better race. I think everyone can say something good about Race 1.

Yay from me. If it makes all three races more unpredictable instead of just Race 3 then brilliant. Races 1 & 2 used to be the preserve of the top drivers and Race 3 was the chance for the drivers lower down the order to score a win. All three races should be diverse now.
