Always had an interest in endurance racing, but first time properly watching it this year. Any tips for watching it? What hours normally have good action? Can't watch 24hrs of it :D

I suggest the Vodafone feed and watching it until nightfall, since usually they switch to static cameras showing only the main straight and the pit exit until sunrise on sunday.

But not sure if that happens this year.

Obviously most of the ring is not lit, so the fully dark hours don't show you much - other than the astonishing commitment and ability of the drivers...

So I'd just drink a lot of coffee, and watch as much as you can!

Day time. Night time is when you can't see anything and the camera operators go home. You are left with one or two locked camera positions plus some onboard cars.

How bad would it be if they showed track cameras at night but only the ones with the cars "coming out" of the camera and away so the headlights illuminate what's ahead instead of just getting blinding views.

My computer can't handle that stuff but awesome that it's that accessible. I thought you found some other youtube channel.

No but I understand why others might.

Yeah, like jabbering on about the wrong car - cutting Hindy off, who was simply trying to point this out... then jabbering on about how far tyres might roll as if he's never seen a crash coming out of the Elbow at Bathurst!!!

He does like the sound of his own voice and takes and age to make a point at times, usually when he's saying something very obvious but he's been a bit of a constant in my motorsport viewing through the years so I give him a bit of a pass from time to time.
