I just saw this on the cover page, along with Amazon.com. I have to say this is a tempting deal. I don't know if I should buy it or wait until they come out this game along with add ons - like on GT5

Why not get it now while it's a steal? It's already worth it at full price but at $40 you can't go wrong and you get the thrill of experiencing those updates when they come out. Not to mention enjoying it for much longer.

I saw the news feed last night and picked up GT6 from GameStop today.

If you ask for the Anniversary Edition, they'll give it to you (seeing as it's a Gamestop/Pre-order exclusive, that's probably all they have). So, I got GT6 AE for $43 (tax included). Can't beat that.

I wish they made a special edition GT6 like they did with GT5. I'd like another car model and keychain/book :D

I bought 3 copies day one in hopes for 3 screen support. I still have 2 copies unopened. I went to game stop yesterday and asked for a price break. They say they don't do price guarantees. So I said I'd like to return these 2 copies for a refund. I then said I hear you have GT6 on sale right now I'll take 2 copies. Lame way to get a refund but it did work. Saved 44$. Now I'm still hoping to get 3 screen support. I'll hold out for 2 months and then return the game if no support comes along. I just hope that holding on to 2 game for 3 months will still be returnable. It should be with receipt and being unopened.

I wonder if that's still the 15th Anniversary edition or if only the first print preorder copies were that edition. If it is the 15th edition, that's worth a buy for sure. The game alone is great but those DLC cars are being sold on eBay for insane prices.
Bought mine on the 27th 15th anniversary edition for 39.99

I picked up an AE yesterday at one Gamestop for $40 and returned it using the receipt from 12/6 for the full $60 refund. Gamestop has the holiday return window going so if you can grab a copy and have your original receipt from launch, you're all set.

Hahahaha, doesn't seem they thought the price drop through completely.

GS stores around here have both versions in stock so if you go in and ask for gt6 and they hand you the regular version, ask if the AE is still available.

Reasons are because I'm still enjoying GT5, and I don't have internet to download the update to play. And I'm not planning on getting internet anytime soon since I already got it on my mobile. Basic I'm trying to save some money on getting internet

You can play without the update- as of right now, all the updates have done is add some cars and events.

If you have unlimited internet via your mobile, Use your mobile as a wi-fi hotspot for your PS3 to connect to the internet.

I don't have land-line internet in my place, I download the updates, get the login bonus, and do all the seasonal events via my mobile.

I also connect my PC to my mobile hotspot for general surfing and other internet activities.
