That thing looks great! I am really digging that. Everything looks better with fatter tires on it to me! Then again, I'm weirrd like that I guess.

The rivets arn't any big issue, as a friend of mine had them on his RX7 for awhile before smoothing them out with fiberglass. Looks amazing now:

The miata's stomp everyone's ass here on the autocross courses, and I can only imagine how it would handle rolling on those meats. Hmmm...I think I smell a project car coming.... :)

so it's all part of the JDM look now?

Nice job removing the rivets - looks very very good 👍

Funny thing though - I liked it better with rivets - Must be an 0ld sk00l thing I guess  (Like the 240Z in GT4P)

Wow, a body mod that actually increases performance. The owner has clearly taken advantage of being able to now install wider tires on their Miata, without taking a huge hit aerodynamically.

And that is definitley an American car with Japanese plates. How many places in Japan would you be able to find a Dodge Dakota, Chevy Astro, and a Ford Ranger all in the same place? Check the background.

That's a Chevrolet Express and it looks like a Seville behind the Dakota. Definately american, and the st in headlamps are definately not cool 👎

I hope there's a pop up kit for the C6 when SEMA 2005 comes around. Also, what's up with the "Tofu Boy Xtreme" rims?

Hehe, sorry. :) Yeah, he's put a LOT of work into that thing. He deserves the praise. It's got the balls to back up the looks as well, which is the way it should be. 👍

I think this car looks excellent!!! Its nice to see people with the balls to do something different. I bet that thing is a monster on the track. :) Great job and just ignore the idiots that are in here. 👍

He blew his motor on the dyno not too long ago. The words '3 Rotor' were being tossed around..

Hehe, you know you've got a ncie ride when you're universally recognized.

Yup, he blew it but that motor had a lot of racing on it (he's a blast to watch at the autocross). Chuck's finished finding a new house now, so the 3 rotor is now a green light, from his hints 👍

You know the best thing about blowing a motor up is??? The next engine you install ends up with more HP. 👍 :)

Is the three rotor the 787B engine? Because as far as I know all RX-7's were two rotors... imagine the cost for that thing :scared:

I think, and I'm fairly sure at this, that the 787B is a 4 rotor...

But, as usually, I'm probably wrong....

That simply is marvelous. . . . marvelously horrid and downright dishonor shoned on my name!

Oh, that was in reference to that nasty arse Miata in the link on the first post.

Oh, lol

Can you back me up on whether the 787B was a 3 or 4 rotor?

you serious? Werent you the one who posted all those rotary pictures in The Engine Thread a while ago? anyway here are the specs. :)

I don't know anything about rotary engines, so I don't know how/what he's doing in regards to having three rotors. From my very limited understanding, you can add another rotor to his existing engine, but I don't pretend to know what I'm talking about in this area. He just made it sound more like a mod, than an entire engine swap, I don't know.

There's some 3 rotor info right here....

3 rotor engines aren't necessarily powerful, remember that they did come stock in the Eunos Cosmo.

3 Rotors wern't that powerful...just like 13B's and 12a's....you gotta modify them.....And remember...don't corner too hard with under a 1/4 tank of gas...
