Anyone else not gotten all of the weekly challenge rewards?

I finished the challenges in at least 3rd place but I only received the very first reward ticket then nothing for the last two...And polyphony support doesn't seem to be easy to talk to...

I have received the tickets but the races result indicates I was third everywhere..in fact I was first 😄

To be more precise I was first the 4 first races and its was indicated first, I did the last one (taken the Porsche 962) and finished third, when I came back later I saw that I was third everywhere even after I won the last…!

That said, I've had no issues receiving tickets for the weekly challenges. Did both the past 2 weeks and have done the first event of this week's fine.

Maybe it just doesnt as clearly indicate as it could, the same way as oh so often there are threads about cant finish menu book no 3.
I dont know, I havent played for the weekly incentive a single time yet.

Yes, received same as you. The payouts appear to fluctuate from week-to-week so it's something we need to verify with each new round. This is referenced in the weekly write-up they do outlining all these details here on the 'Planet.

And something I must've missed in the write-up...round 6 of the weekly races (PP900). I tried to run it last night and it said "This event is not yet available" but did not indicate why. I have access to, but have not yet completed, Book 48. Wasn't sure if I needed to finish 48 and THEN try to run that last race. If so, it's a clever way to drag us into the Cafe if they were low on traffic over there.

That said, some articulation of that approach would be appreciated in the moment. For instance, when I'm trying to launch the race. Feel free to Dunce Cap me for not catching it elsewhere, tho. 😁

If you can't outdrive 'em, out gun 'em. More HP was the answer for me. Upgraded the WRX Gr.B and, really, you can almost win with the trans in reverse.😁

I kid, I kid...can't do it in reverse. BUT, having 700+ hp versus their <way less> hp made my horrific driving successful, at least.🤣

If you can't outdrive 'em, out gun 'em. More HP was the answer for me. Upgraded the WRX Gr.B and, really, you can almost win with the trans in reverse.😁

I'm trying this but I still seem to be slower in the straights compared to the other cars. I've got traction control off too - I just don't get it at all

Check the transmission settings, maybe? Could have gotten set to max-out at something painfully slow like 180 km/h. Hp will make the car quicker, not faster, until you change the trans settings a bit. Not sure how much tuning you like to do, is the only reason I mention. 👍

Yep!

It’s part of the new World Touring Car 900 event added in the Spec II update — and as it’s also in the Bonus Menu Book selection you will need to have at least started Book 48 to see the event.

Stay in a higher gear, whatever the others in the race are doing go one higher.

Tap the brakes earlier and then turn. Trail braking isn't a thing on snow like it is on tarmac circuits.

Be slow mid corner but line up the exits really straight in a higher gear.

As a side note they have done a really good job of "visualising rallye on snow" but it's not quite right, in a GR whatever car I would imagine more grip is actually available.

If you’ve got the swapped Tundra use that. That’s what I used and blew away the AI by over 45 seconds. I even left the suspension settings for LeMans (super stiff) so I can imagine how much better it’d be with a proper setup for snow.

Aha!.... so I need to use manual shifting right? That's a real pain as I've never done anything other than auto before. I don't even have shift buttons on the controller any more.

You don't have to use Manual (it really helps) but if you want to keep with auto you need to let the car coast more, the speed doesn't drop very much and dab the brake to make it shift down. Or pump the power to keep it in a higher gear.

If I get time I'll do a manual vs auto video. Manual is faster but it's doable in both transmission settings. That's applies to controllers and wheels too.

I used the stock (Don't think I have upgraded it, can't check right now, if upgraded, it's default settings for Fully Customizable Suspension and Fully Customizable Racing Transmission.) Ford Focus Gr. B, TC: 0, ASM: On, Countersteering Assistance: Strong and Gears: Automatic.

The confusion may be where it states the "conditions" to be met in each of the green tiles for each race. They are all "3rd" place that you must at least achieve.

When I first clicked on this week's challenges they were already all completed. I had five green check marks in the box. I had indeed gotten gold in all the events but not in 10 minutes!

Well that was a useful piece of information. Started the menu book and then the race (about half an hour before it expired at midnight) and managed to snatch 3rd place on the last lap. So that's enough excitement for today.

This is the second week in a row that I haven't received the rewards for the weekly challenges.

It's worked for me since. I don't know what the problem was. Just normal PD BS? Hope yours starts working.

Well I reinstalled the game today, I'm waiting for midnight to start the next weekly challenge, I hope it works this time because they are offering a total of 130,000,000 cr.
