I strongly agree!
I enjoy a closer replication to real driving, then arcade driving combined with being a game. Possibly FM4 can change that arcade driving, Possibly it can't. We shall see.

Like I said, that poll was before the Confirmed Spec II, so I'm sure a portion... would change their mind. The poll looks fine to me anyways considering the games reaching it's year point.
I have played all Forza/GT/Shift. My opinion is once I played Gran Turismo 5, I didn't feel the urge to play any of the other games.
Forza 4 isn't out yet and yet you're judging how superior it's going to be. We don't even know what features spec II will have and yet you're criticizing it. And about your "Forza 3 is superior to GT5" argument is just your opinion.

I think this winter will be perfect for all car nuts out there. FM4 and DLC to GT5, couldn't be any better.

Forza is already superior to the GT series in everyway besides the core racing and driving element. And also I think GT's original tracks are better, but can look better.
Now this is not to say that I like FM better.
I played alot of Forza3 before GT5 came out to pass the time. However, since GT5 came out, Forza 3 hasnt been touched.
Online has a good matchmaking set up but I wish there was server browsing. GT5 is the opposite.
Forza 3 has better looking tracks. Where GT5 has some good, and some that look like they were straight from the PS2. I think PD needs to do a better job at texturing many of their tracks. Some look amazing, but then you come across that whole row of 2D trees and low res textures.
The menu system is quick and easy to navigate. This was one of the biggest complaints with GT5.
Overall, consistency. Every model, though not as detailed as GT5's premiums, was atleast equal. Atleast they all had cockpit view.
If you dont care about liveries, that's fine, but you have to admit that Forza has a better customization and tuning system. The game was loaded with variety in that department. So many car parts you can buy, and even engine swapping.

I have over 1000 cars. I think around 55% of the trophies? Most of the A/B-Spec completed, still need to do the endurance races really, if saving makes it in, that is something I want to do. I just have the last license grade to complete. And I don't really do the online events, other than that Ferrari 1 lap Le Mans race.. That's all you need to know. Thats more of an answer then you deserve too.
And like I already pointed out earlier, I play online each week with some friends, for a few hours.
I'm waiting for the "I played it more than you, so you can't have an opinion on GT5" argument. He is going to pull that card, just wait for it.
