Your opinion of relevance is yours, your own, only you.
EDIT: Not only that..... You came to this Gran Turismo website and signed up 10 months later. Seems the game is extremely Irrelevant right.
Maybe you should have asked for clarification from the start? Although I don't know how I could have been anymore clear. If the roles were reversed, I would have saw that you were just stating your opinion. Would have been "okay cool man, I respect that, I don't agree, but I can see why some people might think what you do!" Short of just a crazy amount of hyperbole, it's pretty obvious when someone is stating an opinion, unless they say otherwise.
I don't know how you can take issue with what I said when someone else stated the following;
That's the EXACT sort of thing you're talking about here, and it didn't come from me.
Once again beating a dead horse.
If it was that "obvious" to notice your opinion we wouldnt be going on about this.
Any GT or FM game is relevant to anything in this thread, period.Well not necessarily say in my opinion but something like that wouldve made it more clear.
I said he was right . why keep beating a dead horse?
Saying a old game is irrelevant in present day isnt the same as calling a newer game irrelevant.
I started loving GT because I could drive everyday cars, typically the "fast" versions of them, some of which are listed above, through the 13 years, I continually expected some more American cars, and more anything "not another Skyline" cars.1987 Pontiac Trans Am GTA

Your reading comprehension issues are not my problem. A couple people in this thread, knew what I meant. They didn't need it spelled out for them. You did, that's your own fault.
I misinterpretate your comment.
I find it incredibly weird that those 3 didnt take your comment as trolling. And treated you as if you were a long term member.
👍 Thank you Dmarc_Atl
That was his missing link.
My reading comprehension isnt a problem.

There is no fault
Other people read it the same way I read it. So ... its not just me who misinterpretate your comment

Yes... proving my point.
No one treated me as a long time member. They treated me as a normal person, who's registration date means absolutely nothing. Which guess what? It doesn't. If I joined GTP, years ago, I would still be saying the exact samething i'm saying right now.
Everyone always has to have the last say, don't they?MeBut frankly the people who come in to actually state their piece on the subject have been ignored since page 5. It's always about proving the other person wrong.
Yes... proving my point. And it is your fault when you claim I said something I didn't. If you're unsure, then maybe next time you should ask questions?

Lmao oh it so obvious
Either your that other dude who kept going on about the aup or he is your twin brother or you 2 share incredibly similar traits.
wait wait let me ask I dont want to assume things ... Are you that other dude who kept going on about the AUP then left in a blazing glory breaking rules in the AUP?
My misinterpretation of your comment that couldve been interpreted in an infinite amount of different ways with the wording you chose is not the same as a lack of comprehension my friend. That was not your point.
Ive seen newer members get labeled as trolls with less bold comments then yours quite often around here.
Your registration date has everything to do with everything. If you had say 20 or 50 post prior to your 1st comment this arguement wouldnt be going on right now.
Yea because they both go on about the person they are arguing proving their point.
Nothing about this discussion is on topic. You know what he said now. In fact, everyone but you seemed pretty clear on what he said from the start. This part of the topic![]()
Implying, of course, that Sony's personal financial stake in 3DTV sales has nothing to do with PS3 games having 3D implemented into them. Which is silly. The fact that they're not even going to recognize 3D gaming in a market that will most likely lean towards more 3D content is absoultely ridiculous and just further proves to me that Turn 10 isn't passionate about what they're doing.
I dont see what me bringing up you post count and registration date have to do with your point?Pot calling Kettle black! Bringing up my post count, registration date, demanding that I provide my PSN I.D.? Doing the exact thing you are claiming you have a problem with.
I really do not believe that the people who continually call you out, and have issues with you, are the problem here. Instead it's you and the way you present yourself; It's annoying and childish.
What new thing has GT5 brought to the genre? We barely got online and damage. One cool feature which is night racing and weather change. But it's not saying much considering it's so tightly limited. The point of the thread was to ask "Are you going to drop GT5 for FM4" because obviously the OP was mad about something. The whole point of this thread is to QQ about GT5 and to show the GT5 community that FM4 is somehow our white night in shining plastic pads - not real armor because it would take too long to make something of quality.
Fact is... I agree with the point that some guy made sometime in this 40 page long flamewar that will eventually lead to nothing which is Forza has been half assed since day one. The fact that they're not even going to recognize 3D gaming in a market that will most likely lean towards more 3D content is absoultely ridiculous and just further proves to me that Turn 10 isn't passionate about what they're doing. They're just doing what they can to try and immitate GT5 as cost effectively and time efficient as possible to get the best bang for their buck... when they do this they do nothing for the genre, they bring nothing new to the table, there's nothing creative about it, the game is far too casual, and it has about as much soul as a cardboard box whch then automaticly defaults thems to a lowly imitation level in the market.
This has been Forza's problem from the very beginning. You can't just attack the top dog without going through some similar evolution. GT5 has credibility behind it because that's something it focused on throughout its lifetime. Credibility from several points... Forza? No. Its sense of credibility is stamping Top Gear all over it. Its absurd. I personally will never drop GT5 for Forza 4 or any Forza title. I might buy other games like NFS Underground 5 or whatever they're on now or Midnight Club LA because while I'm at dropping my standards to play a stupid absurd game - might as well make it the most ridiculous game on the market and not some game that tries to be Gran Turismo. At least Midnight Club and NFS aren't kidding themselves and are focused on an entirely different crowd of gamers. I would even argue that in some strange way, Shift was probably still aimed at NFS:U fans... you know for when they want to play something a little more mature without the elitism of the GT fanbase.
Anyway... I'm thoroughly convinced GT has the console driving game "war" locked down. Forza is a good imitation and I am actually impressed at its progress thus far, but to compare it to THE game... GT5... lol that's just silly.

The biggest flaw with GT5 is customization. Weather it's external, or engine customization. Tuning and customization has been Forza's greatest strength and GT's greatest weakness. Like I said, Forza is a bette GAME, GT is a better SIM. But there's a good chance that the line can be seriously blurred when F4 comes out. All they'll need is a good wheel to rival it. T10 probably studied polyphony, and polyphony seems oblivious. You can call them imitations but look at everything else. Look at the playstation controller's button layout. Similar to SNES right? Now Xbox has that, and most 3rd party controllers have that.
Creation is not without influence. You create something today, someone will make it better. So you constantly need to evolve.
And screw 3D. It's not a necessity, just an accessory with annoying goggles..
I always felt that forza had better customizations but to ME its pointless without presise simulation.
I didnt play alot of forza 3 but I played forza 2 quite a bit so I remember the physics

And my friend told me the 2 had similar physics.
Actually, 2 had better physics. 3 did feel alittle off. I think they did bring new ideas that GT5 needs to consider. Online was very basic in GT5, too simplistic. Forza 4 is comming out with stuff like car clubs. Things that can bring a whole racing community together. Instead of doing things like pretend drag races in SSR7 and not even earning any creds for it..
I have to say that, being the intranets and all, it isn't obvious at all that you were being cheeky. If you read the post above the one you quoted, it was a repsonse to someone saying S2 was the worst game ever made, and asked if I loved it for the tracks. My repsonse was a cheeky reponse. Again taken out of context.
I see it as a positive too. I just got pushed away from GT5 a little over an hour ago, and if not for that and a sleepy head, I'd still be racing it. I just did a few races with the Standard IS200 race car, and you'll have to pry that little monster out of my red dead redemption. The only reason I give GT5 fanatics so much crap, is because they use the 1000+ car count as a +postive.
Have this opinion of Forza fanz?I am still willing to bet people who think GT5 is the best game ever have not played anything else in the genre.
Great minds think alike? That was my problem I loved customizing my car, but when driving it well...I was spending more time customizing than driving, I'm eager to see what FM4 has to offer with the physics.
That argument isn't any better than the opposite one.I am still willing to bet people who think GT5 is the best game ever have not played anything else in the genre.
