Why don't all the nay sayers wait until they hear the song before they judge what PD has done with music choice. Music has always been fantastic in previous titles IMO.
So if the song ends up being good for the people who say now it is a bad decision you probably won't admit to judging to soon. If I think the song sucks then I will say it does but not until I hear it.

I'm not a fan of MCR but without hearing the song I'll reserve judgment. It's quite possible that the song will fit quite well with the introduction.

I actually bought it before EU version and watched opening movie again, again and again before actually played. Then i was very disappointed with EU intro song, it's horrible, imo.
And seems this time it won't be any better, not even a little bit...

It's a question that will never be agreed upon. Music is a very personal taste. I'm pretty confident that 95% of people on this forum wouldn't like what I listen to. But do I care about that? No it's my taste in music.

How can anyone be satisfied or dissatisfied with a song you've never heard before based on who the band is? If that's the case, hell, I'll tell you right now that I'm quite displeased with the choice of music used in the GT Auto screen, and, and....I hate the fourth test for the International A license.

I think this is a great choice, i like the song i heard from My chemical romance. For the people who are complaining about the song, it fits with the songs from the past GTs.
About the intros of past GT games, they never impressed my really. They are all not that good, there are a lot of games with cooler/better intros.
I think that Sony picks the songs that PD can use for the game. Sony has to sell CD's and GT5 is a big stages for Sony artists. So if they want to sell more CDs of My chemical romance it will be the title song of GT5. GT4 had a great tracklist with a lot of artist that became big in the years after Gt4 was released, a clear sign for me that Sony selects the songs for GT5.
I guess that when Gt6 is coming people will complain about the titlesong not be as great is in Gt5.

Man, if someone (like me for example) just don't like (hate is too strong feeling to have against some lame music band (just my opinion, don't flame ^^), so no, i can't say i hate it) this band, what's the chances i will like that song?
I think it's close to the 0%.
Maybe u like MCR, then just take any of bands/singers that u don't like even a little bit (i dunno, any generic pop or whatever that u will NEVER EVER listen). Then imagine that will be GT5 intro song. Yes, u didn't heard it yet, but there's no need to do that to know, that u won't like it.
