Evening all

Came across this top-notch iconic kart track that deserves to be shared with the GTP community - it's up to date with CSP FX features, lighting, grass & rain inclusive... with 11 layout configurations for drifting, racing & hotlap modes...

It's absolutely free and it's a hoot!

Credits and appreciation to #Victor Alves for the release...

Wow, that is special, some real care went into that.
(I haven't dug down or inspected it via F7 yet though)

Only if nit picking trees are a bit duff in places but easy to sort with a skin.

Coming to the end, Le Mans pack, another "fake" car, 1950/1951 Talbot 26GS Biplace Sport from Asto Martin. Here is the graphics of the cars, with their livery. Unfortunately the "map" to create the skin, I had to adapt. I did a track test with files from the "DATA" folder which I modified to be close to the performance of the 1951 Jaguar C-Type and later the 1950 Jaguar XK120.

Hi,

I love seeing all your liveries, the research that goes into creating your skins must take ages. Just FYI, you are aware that the Aston Martin Ulster raced at Le Mans pre-war - any chance you'll create those as well ?

Does anyone have a link to the tx_nissan_silvia_s14_zenki_vertex mod??? I downloaded a skin for this car, but i don't have the car mod itself & i can't use it because it needs the mod installed.

Hi guys, a little question
Does the file compression tool in CM affects performance/stability?

its Win10 compression, CM simply provides a button... so no not really.

Does anyone here know where @Teddie is? I know he had some medical stuff last year and haven't seen him here or on RD in quite a while. Last logged in here in march of this year and RD in december of last year. Not trying to be a stalker or anything, just wondering if he's okay. I found his instagram and facebook but there haven't been any posts there in quite a while either.

Well, as for Shaun Clarke (RIP), I noticed that two of his mods, both being Vauxhall Cavalier BTCC (one from 1990 and second one from 1995) are missing from his site, so since I have them on my pc, I decided to upload them, also, i added LODs to them. https://sharemods.com/rg6lgro2p7q1/shaun_clarke__x27_s_Vauxhalls_Cavaliers_BTCC.7z.html

Thanks for sharing these mods... Classics no doubt.

Here are some CM-wipers to go... All tested ok.

Note: rename file to extract <vauxhall_cavalier_btcc_1990-95__cm-wipers.7z>

RIP Shaun Clarke (1975-2021)
taken way too soon...

That is my worry, i dont want to have to start again.

Someone brought up URD 911 GT1 recently, I like the car, I wish its a 6MT though, like the real thing....

At this point, why not also make it have remodeled detailed lights and other parts, custom made 8K textures and 8K baked AO, among recreating ALL possible real skins for it (especially the one featured in GT4 being my favorite). I would surely do the 8K AO and textures for it in Blender once I'll upgrade my PC with all AMD stuff at high-spec soon hopefully, honestly had enough of not being capable of modding entirely and play AC at max 30 FPS with Sol, CSP and Reshade (hey, there is people out there that like using it a lot and don't have any issues with) on my current medium-spec PC I had since 2016, I feel like it's time to upgrade just for this fantastic driving simulator and nothing else...

Hi,
Could you update interior with better textures (dashboard etc ...)?
Thanks

No it's rather originally from the first GTR, but yeah, hope it had a plethora of skins made for it in the past where I can find them all in whatever site it archives them and find a way to increase their resolution to 8K if possible (possibly without using any AI neural network program such as Gigapixel AI since I heard from someone that it's not as that good when I tried it long ago)

Hello

Not sure if this is the correct thread but I will try, does anyone know where to find the info for the "racemenu" in AC? I want to increase the size of the driver column but can't seem to find it within the folders... Alternatively, if you know how to do it, the solution is obviously also welcome but I'm fairly confident I will be able to do it if I just can find the folder/file with the code.

Thanks in advance

If GTR2 skins work for the Gillette (i didnt try the car yet), I have about 20 skins if someone wants to extract them from the .gtr

I simply swapped my old HD into the new machine (as the boot-up drive). Log-in as normal, update drivers for any new hardware (if Windows doesn't just do it for you on first boot-up), and you're done (if you have two HDs, just put both in the new machine).

They don't. Tried it before. It's the Race07 model and the skins don't fit

The Thrustmaster TX and TS300RS work perfectly fine with a PC. You just need to download and install the drivers from Thrustmaster's site. You'll likely find the TX feels even better on a PC. I have both of these wheels and others for R&D use. My TS-PC Racer is my favorite, but honestly, it's not a huge upgrade over the TX and TS300RS. They all provide excellent feedback with Assetto Corsa.

Sorry, yes i already have a PC, gtx 1060 and i7 4790, does a pretty good job but i keep getting tempted to get a better PC and then i panic about the transferring of all my games and settings not to mention a stupid amount of mods etc for AC.

If a could get a 1070 or 1080 for a fair price i'd do that, but its cheaper to get a whole system with a 1080 in it already.

If/when moving your AC install to a new PC, make sure your AC install is on a drive other than the C/system drive. Once you install it in the new PC, Steam should be able to "re-connect" to the install.

Another option is use Steam to install AC on the new PC on a new drive, then copy your mods from the old hard drive to the newly-installed AC on the new drive. You could install the old drive in the new PC, or put the drive in an external case.

A third option is to use cloning software to make an exact copy of everything on one drive to another drive.

I recommend getting a 1TB SSD drive if you're not using one already.

Keeping your settings can be tricky. Most of your AC settings are in your user folder on your C-drive. You could back those up to an additional drive and copy them to the user folder on the new PC. You just need to be careful and test as you do it.
