Hi, I really liked your Patreon, thank you! Could you, if possible, convert this track made by you from GTR2 to AC? I have good memories from this track.

I have 2 different versions, one version is in AC and has a full pipe section. The other is the one you linked and is not in AC (yet). Both are not really finished or presentable. Both were done by my friend (and the only other official RMi member) "RMi_Smuckers/Randy Stratton" Maybe they will see the light one day in honor of R.Stratton since he cannot (RIP).


Re GRiD tracks:

I have both Miami and Washington DC as WIP in AC, but they are not finished as yet.
As for the GRiD 2019 tracks, there is no plugin yet available to extract for conversion.

And a couple of other stuff too.

Is there any way to save your VR actual head movements into the replay?

I ask this, because when looking at your driver model in VR from a camera view that isn’t the main cockpit, you can see the driver’s neck and helmet mimicking your actual head movements exactly.
Now this information is relayed live and isn’t recorded anywhere(as far as I know), but it would be a good tweak to possibly create in CSP, as it would show the player’s exact VR head movements in a saved replay - cool for onboard and trackside replays, to see when when you look sideways to the mirrors, or shake your head in disillusionment etc.

Is there any way to see to see what car mods are in a grid preset? The 1970s Le Mans comes with a preset that I assume is used in the video, but, when I select it, I only get a small grid of Kunos Porsche 917Ks.

I don't mind hunting the mods down, but I have no clue what to look for since I know little about 1970s Le Mans cars.

B) Can you tell to a young (at heart) AC user which is the most popular Kart? not the best, the most accepted and used.

A: yes attention, affection and probably the buzz from pretending that their mod is as good as a Kunos mod 🤣
B: Going by download numbers probably this one how many downloads :0

I'm missing the kjr_matra_ms660 from the LeMans 70 grid and am struggling to find it, does anyone know if this is hidden behind some patreon/paywall? Hm... might be some (private/unpublished) mod/edit GTR2 conversion by the guy who converted the GTR2 track (KJRacing81).

C those cars are pretty old and have some issues that were never fixed.

Nope, you get one chance to record it while driving and that it is it.

A) a bird once told me that the ks_ suffix is some secret code to enable the new 2nd gen CSP which makes AC look like GT7.

B) I'm partial to the 2nd you've linked, but there are the Legion one's too to take into account. Personally I still have to try those.

C those cars are pretty old and have some issues that were never fixed.

c) I've had a fast read at a few old threads here and there. That's too bad, the models seems nice.

Some progress on the Dauer outside is finished (there are still parts which can be seen trough which ill need to add internal normals) the interior needs some modeling and UV fixes and it should be done. Thoughts on the replica?

I will compare lights on both versions but not sure if there is a big difference between the two (maybe more related to PPFilter settings)

I'll hold off releasing it anyhow as yours looks better. ill wait for the final version was just saying I have a better cockpit surround if you want it but noticed yours is right hand drive, any eta on this, one of my favorite cars.
