Assetto Corsa PC Mods General DiscussionPC

[leBluem]

If you leave everything as is, it will only reset your kunos cars/tracks, simply the hole game. Mods will stay where they are, steam verify only checks files, that are known to it. It will not delete any file that it doesnt know.

But some things are lost, at most sound mods will be broken. But that can be fixed easily - reinstall sound mod (they come in packs, so...) or delete any "\sfx\guid.txt" for those kunos cars.

[Electroforce]

nevermind

[Oovens]

I would backup the entire content folder honestly

I just turned off the shaders patch as in de activated it and it went back to what i imaghine is standard AC. It looks better, trees look better and the cars too.... also the main stand at Silverstone reflects the trees, but with shaders patch it doesn't.... also better road lighting from the sun...very odd. I think my track configs and car configs are busted.
All very odd.

[Luca959]

Hi guys sorry the trouble exists for AC the porsche 956, thanks for the kind help

[Racingheaven]

The 962 exists... as part of one of the Porsche DLC's... and RD has tons of skins for this car...

[Luca959]

yes I know that there is the 962 porsche, but I look for the 956 which is a little longer than the 962 and with different motorization

[Racingheaven]

to my knowledge there is no 956 sadly...

Well I couldn't wait to try this one but it literally got no brakes, anyone else run into this issue? Everything else is magnificent by the way.

I've noticed that with a few other ac reworked cars.

So if this is the fix for the issue that I showed last night, im still having the same problems with the back of the panel
EDIT: So as I can see testing the car, the issue is only on the skins where the number panel is under the banner on the windscreen.

[Testgame]

Yes, I have that too

It would have to be in Shader k's windscreen, not in ksPerPixelReflection

[Jaukkonen]

Btw, someone has the Simdream 2008 season and can share it? Pls

To clarify, the BMW M6 update was suspended because there're a couple of issues to fix, I spotted only later, after uploading the update (thanks to @AR_GIULIA as first scout!)
I'm finishing fixing them as we speak.
Thanks for the patience

Links fixed in the zip file attached. Let's see if the Defender(s) of True Modding is/are still active

• Aston Martin DB11 Avant/Race V1.1
• BMW M6 GT3 V1.2 mirror links in a dedicated post.

• Alfa Romeo Montreal 1971 V1.0

• Toyota FT-01 V2.0

• RUF RGT8 GT3 V1.1

• Lexus LC500 GT500 V1.1
• Chevrolet Camaro SS Racecar (new)
• Mitsubishi Touring Car & GTO GT1 (new)

This page and the zip file is updated with all the links the funny guy took down, at least the important ones. The M8 link, as promised is not present.

Every car link is hidden inside an encrypted html, so good luck. The Funny Avenger must put some effort to take down the links, now. Will be worth it?
Launch the html of the car you need, in your favourite browser and download the car.
For the community of AC.

p.s.
@AC Modder if this method works, you can contact me in private, so the same guy(s) won't be able to take down anything anymore, in your site.

Updated link in the zip file for:

• Chevrolet Camaro SS Racecar
• Mitsubishi Touring Car & GTO GT1

@delpinsky, I love your mods but this new cold war secret message download method is tying me in knots. I just get sent from site to site to site....
Don't make me look back on Apexxer's password with fond nostalgia..!

Edit: tried some of the different links and actually found a download, but it'll take 20mins unless I pay for premium. This ain't good mate, it's like that site that the Facebook shyster used to use where you had to wait 90 seconds and then the file took all day to download.

What's wrong with Mega or one of the other sensible sites? Even Sharemods is better than this mate. Sorry. Unless one of the sites in your link is quicker/better than the others..? I hate to complain about free mods but this is a real step back in my book.

I have to disable my Malwarebytes Premium to get to any of those sites, as it lists all of them as unsafe.

[delpinsky]

@Masscot @WVStarship
Weird, because I use uBlock Origin on every browser + NoScript + Avast! antivirus and the link is just fine.

Basically from here, you click and open the list of all the available mirrors (12)
I tried to add the "fastest" hosters, at least for my connection.
I don't know why this issue.
If I don't do like this, it's basically an endless war or copyright claims (LOL) and reuploads and I don't want to arrive at the torrent sharing.
