Assetto Corsa PC Mods General DiscussionPC

[Fall Guy]

There is a TVR Griffith on Race Dept (one of the top rated car mods, in fact). I wonder if this is the mod in question. As it is quite old, this might explain why it doesn't have modern features.
However, I would be interested if there is a Legends pack with this car as I imagine it would be BOP'ed with other cars in the pack.

It was planned to have this car in the legends pack but it was not included at all. So the official TCL pack is missing the Griffith, you might use the RD version and tag it afterwards in CM, to have it included in the TCL races. Reg. the 330 P4, simply use the Kunos one, it is the same car (you even need some files during install from Kunos to have it worked properly).

Love this era. The bug bit me watching the Sebring 1999 replay. All we are missing now is the R&S MKIII that looks similar to the F333.

I hope there is also the Riley and Scott MKlll C. I saw that watching the 2001 sebring 12 hours.

That's going to come eventually.

1999 ALMS you say?

MK III C you say?

They do need some nerfing as they are basically way too op compared to the others the 333 SP is fine but it's the Riley's that are way too fast. The B98 needs some work and the V12 LM has just had some changes to it ready.

Anyone who has experience with porting Test Drive Unlimited models please HMU. Don't know where to start.
Cheers.

I convert TDU models once, back in GTA modding days...
Converting TDU model isn't easy, you need many tools for convert textures and models to your 3d software program.
Like ZModeler 2, TDU Modding tools, etc.
But the process isn't hard, you just need to separate each LODs, finding the highest level of detail (like exterior and interior).
correct me if I wrong, I never touch TDU model again since 2020.

I try to keep the same file structure from one extension to another (I work on each part of the extension sequentially, one file at a time and using the same base ext-config.ini file ensures nothing is forgotten)
Sometimes some sub-files (like the ones you see on your screenshot) are not needed that's why they are inactive.

OK....that makes sense. I also see the actual config files in the folder as well. that is what had me confused as to why they were active = 0 if the configs were in the folder.

Could you post a link to this pack please? I don't seem to be able to find a pack with the TVR Griffith. I assume it's one of Bazza's?

It is not from Bazza.

Here:
D/L 1 - TVR Griffith Series 200
D/L 2 - TVR Griffith Series 200

Hi lorelord
The only car I found matching this discription was on race department TVR Griffith Series 200 Race & road versions by someone called PCTM. Please find enclosed attachment.
It's not brilliant like El locho's wiper configs but it works. BTW this is only for the race version of the car.
Hope this helps...Shysterz.

Thanks 👍 I thought it might be this one. The og post made me think that I might have missed another version from one of Bazza's Legends packs.

[Twisteddrift]

Any chance of this skin being done for the AMG GT3 Evo?

Afaik the Griffith was part of an internal mod that the development team were working on, but it was not intended for public release.
Anyway, I have only the pctm_00 version from RD (no working wipers)...

MediaFire is a simple to use free service that lets you put all your photos, documents, music, and video in a single place so you can access them anywhere and share them everywhere.

Another banger car in the works.
I think I'm in a niche of a niche, but I'm a bit addicted to deconstructing mods in this way.

And yes i do have wreckfest.

ok if i recall correctly, one version of the GTC Legends pack came with a data file and some other bits for the TVR Griffith from race department but without any kn5's as it wasn't officially included. this balanced the car etc.

thanks anyhow for all the responses and @Shysterz and @El Locho for the wiper configs

[Shysterz]

Ah I was not aware of the the data file for BOP changes. I understand now.

Take your time, because this looks impressive. Hope to see a skin for the Mk III portraying Philippe Gache's car at the 1999 24 hours of Le Mans

The Rafenilli Riley & Scott MKIII Judd is nearly done, doing work with gear ratios as of now.

Not gonna lie that looks pretty darn great. The MKlll C has been a forgoting prototype. Nice to see someone reviving it.

Thank you!! I don't know why this has turned into an obsession? I think it was because of your great efforts to BOP the cars of that era. That made me look at the Sebring race and now I have this craze. ha ha. Thank you again for all the love you put into this. It renews my energy.

This modding Youtube channel drives me nuts!

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCsmo5XVdKtCd3JmGc7YU7VA/videos

He looks like he has some potentially great mods, but never releases them on the count he says they're not good enough. I would probably be able to understand this if it wasn't for the fact, he keeps working on a new project. You're never going to get anything done doing this.

[AnklaX]

There's this one beautiful car you modders have forgotten about. So I'm here to remind you. It is the Aston Martin DB9. No DBS, Zagato, Vanquish, Vantage or other BS. Simple, stock, not trying too hard to impress but absolutely gorgeous DB9.

Now get on with it. Chop Chop.

Je trouve le problème... le fait est que je joue avec une manette de jeu donc je n’ai pas cette option
En se tournant vers une roue, l’option apparaît

Il semble donc que je devrai résoudre le problème d’occupation à 99% par d’autres moyens.

Can anyone share a guide with me or let me know their personal process for figuring out BoP?

I'm putting together a championship to run with the TCR cars and the Ballast/Restrictor can use some tweaking

Wait a minute, by hiding the message I solve the problem? It is so simple?

Attendez une minute, en masquant le message je résous le problème ? C'est si simple ?
