Are those any good? I know I could try them out myself, but I have about 650 in my to-try-list already...

I've whittled my car trial list down by going to the car content tab in content manager, pressing "alt-a" then removing the ones that have fewer than 4 LOD's, too many triangles or no HR cockpit. It has really cut down on my time by weeding out the cars that don't have what I perceive they need.

At this point, I've downloaded soo much content over the years for AC that I've decided to keep only the very best that I find. There is just too much space taken and also a confusion of content. There is soo much content that there is no direction for me. In a perfect world, even one flaw and the car or track is gone. Realistically though, that's not a mentality that I can stick to!

You started reworking those GTR2 models recently? Good, they badly needed a rework eventually since they all look so dated from decades ago.

It will take time to get them right but patience is virtue.

Yep I can fill grids with cars that have one LOD, I also think that from my bit of personal testing the LODS that EASY adds, so the one that CSP does for you, make no real difference.
For me LODS aren't an issue at all.
Following the earlier conversation's about the AC AI using same physics as the player, that is / was a total gimmick, so unnecessary to have that as the AI aren't using the same peripheral's as the player, its AI so it follows a line.
Total guff to write on the 'back of the box' to make it stand out over others.
(Its something that has dripped into CSP's, just guff that sounds good to certain people but doesn't stand up to scrutiny.)

Plenty of other titles have better AI than AC, its one of its weakest points IMO, its usable, but its never been its strong point.

Update to my ks_nordschleife mod to include a winter skin that removes the leaves from the trees. It can be used as a late fall skin, but if you choose to use it that way, don't set a fall date. Use something like a mid-March or mid September date. You will get similar lighting to late fall but the trees won't turn orange. Or just turn off seasonal adjustments in CM for fall. This skin is far from perfect, but I wasn't going for perfect. I just wanted trees without leaves in the winter. When driving, I don't notice that the leafless trees all look the same, but I do notice when they have leaves in the winter and that bothers me. So I threw this together quickly.

In testing, I also discovered that there are some missing material adjustments for winter in the track's config file. So I edited the stock CSP ks_nordschleife.ini file and included it. So for those that don't want to use this mod (because it does other things you might not like), only extract the files in the extension folder and the 'Winter Vegetation and Trees' skin. Just know that my mod disabled all the 3D trees so if you choose not to use the whole mod package, the 3D trees will still have leaves on them.

Hey all, I've taken the #33 & 34 skins that come with the urd bayro gt3 v2 and played with them a bit, putting proper numberplates and banners, adding decals, playing with the paint schemes a bit. Gives them a little more realistic look in game. Enjoy!

Sorry the idea was not to make the whole, just adding a bit of diversity to the original pack, like in the TC legends pack. I'll probably not do much about the other cars, as I have other "projects" in mind right now (in short : Chaparral 2D, Alpine A310 cup, Funcup,...)
