looking for a bit of advice is there anyway to adjust the "reflection brightness" per car? i can adjust it on my sol config which is great, but i can't seem to find a happy medium some car's are to dark and some car's are to bright. I am guessing this would be the same problem if i adjusted the "lighting fx", its adjustment for all and i am looking for per car adjustment, i am hoping there is going to be a value to change or something...........

i have included a pic of what i mean.

thanks :)

Yes, you can adjust brightness, reflection, effects via an ext_config.ini in the cars "extension" folder.

You can look at github, it's all explained there:

ALLARD J2-Cadillac ( fict.)
ASTON MARTIN DB2 Coupe (fict.)
DELAHAYE 175s (fict.)
FERRARI 166 SC ( fict.)
JAGUAR XK 120s

there are 2 files ".kn5"the normal "jaguar_xk120", LeMans versionand another "jaguar_xk120_targa", modification on the windshield (when you want to activate one or the other, you must rename the line of the "lods" file in the "DATA" folder.
MASERATI A6 Spyder ( fict.)
SIMCA-GORDINI T15s ( coupe and spyder (fict.) )
TALBOT-LAGO T26 (fict.) and TALBOT-LAGO coupe (fict.)
Awesome work man thanks!!!! :D

i have copied this bit of code from github, as far as i can tell it is the correct bit of code. but when i adjust values it doesn't change anything. would someone be able to explain to me what i am doing incorrectly?. i have higlighted the bit of code that i took in the pic provided. thanks :)

now figured out

if you copy and paste the text below into an extension folder and make sure to rename where it says "WC_TEAM_BODY1_PA", change this to whatever "carpaintmaterial" name your car body has. to find this open up CM showroom and click on the car body, it will then highlight and display whatever "material" name your car body has, go ahead and copy and paste that name in place of WC_TEAM blah blah. then adjust the "brightness adjustment" and your off to the races

thanks to @JohnDoeGER for the nudge in the correct direction.

[INCLUDE: common/materials_carpaint.ini]
CarPaintMaterial = WC_TEAM_BODY1_PA
[Material_CarPaint_Solid]
FresnelMax = 0.5
FresnelC = 0.05
BrightnessAdjustment = 2.5
ClearCoatThickness = 0
ColoredSpecular = 0.5
AmbientSpecular = 0.5
AmbientSpecularEXP = 2.5
ApplyTilingFix = 0

@MrLonguinha17 you can also upload these in the “GTplanet Downloads” section.

But a great thanks.
For two reasons.
First: in the attempts to upload at least the skins (halfway it didn't load anymore, I don't know if the problem is with my internet).
Second: as most of the cars are conversions/adaptations, it's not an "official" conversion and other cars are "dummy", for now if there are no problems I'll post it right here on the forum pages.

Awesome work man thanks!!!! :D
Thanks, but it's just a "fictitious" car like some others to have the "grids", mainly from the 60's, 50's, 40's, 30's (Le Mans) a little more numerous, at least 32 would be enough.

Someone asked in a post back if they would try to make the "Cadillac Spider" from Le Mans 1950.....if anyone has an idea of which car I could go (base car) and "try" to invent this Cadillac Spider, but actually I find it difficult, because the format is very strange.

Skins for Aston Ulster (1931 to 1937)Skins Ferrari 212 Inter (for me, I decided to separate them into 3 models, 195s, 166mm and 195s/166mm Coupe (all with slightly different "DATA" files).

For now, for you, here are all the skins for LM1950 and Targa Florio 1950 (they serve in Ferrai 212 Inter).
SKINS ASTON ULSTER
SKINS FERRARI 212 Inter
Where are those 2 cars from?
Anyway thanks for the links.

The only "good" model I can use is the WCP 99 season mod for rfactor. So I don't know if it's worth it
That one is based of off ISI's 3D models from F1 Challenge 99 - 02. It'll be like polishing a turd, but I believe they (WCP) did revamp the skins at least... It'll be a popular release hopefully, nevertheless!

ACF updated their LMH/LMDh cars, but I am getting this error for all of them, I can actually see the cars in showroom but in the game they are shown encrypted and scrambled.....

Looks like unchecked extended physics will work....
