No plan to fix some textures used for multiple adverts and objects resulting in distorted visuals ? I tried to make a 1998 skin for it (because why the hell not) but geez...

If you want to do a decent skin, you can't simply replace the textures of the skin. You have to assign different textures to each mesh via ext_config.ini.
For example on the DrPepper bridge you can assign a texture to the meshes of the side columns (sign895_roada352401_001_001...) and another one to horizontal billboard meshes (sign891_roada352401_001_001...)

[SHADER_REPLACEMENT_...]
MESHES= sign895_roada352401_001_001...
RESOURCE_0= txDiffuse
RESOURCE_FILE_0= side.dds

[SHADER_REPLACEMENT_...]
MESHES= sign891_roada352401_001_001...

Yes you can. Just export that mesh and use what you need in the extension.kn5 and hide the original in the skin ext_config.
I did this to the RSS 550 without touching the original model kn5.

Are there any plans on releasing this? or is this one of those things that will never see the light out day outside your harddrive & friends? Not meant to sound rude, Just asking cause i really want the front bumper option :lol:
 
help TRR Hypercar :Has anyone managed to activate the automatic transmission on this series? for example ferrari 499
Unpack car data with content manager -> Open data folder -> Open drivetrain.ini -> replace the [Auto Shifter] part with something like this:

[AUTO_SHIFTER]
UP=7850 ;gear change up
DOWN=6000 ; gear change down
SLIP_THRESHOLD=1 ;
GAS_CUTOFF_TIME=0.05

If it still doesn't work, lower the "UP" Rev, if it works but then on 2-3-4 gear it doesn't change again, lower the "DOWN" Rev

After that, Save the file -> Delete data.acd -> Pack the data using content manager and it should work.
 
More Work on the Reynard 01Q and 2kQ models (Work on the rear wings and front dive planes to make it as close to real life as possible for me)

Separate the rear wing into multiple objects and fuse them back together

-Lowered the rear wing for the 2KQ Mopar and 2KQ Judd Lemans
-Lowered the rear wing for the 2003 Nasamax Reynard 01Q Lemans Aero Package

Maybe I'll do more skins, but may I ask why ?
Its the way these cars are made/mapped. I noticed that the window trim is all painted on as that is how it is (alot are like this especially older mods) and for me i just couldnt get it looking good enough. Other things which annoyed me were the headlights being flipped so 1 logo is always upside down and then probably the biggest issue for me is whenever you give this an AO the moulding changes on the front wing and moves and to me it looks like hot garbage i have never seen this before its like 1 moulding is fuzzy and duoubled up on 1 side its really odd. The other issue is PM3DM version is available and its not like its utter garabge there are plus sides and down sides to each but i ended up chucking the f302 version in the bin and sticking with PM3DM version with the FSR interior.

overall the f302 version is a better model with better texturing e.t.c but its just a little rough around the edges that i care about.


Have a look at the pic below and see what i mean by the moulding on the front wing moving up with an AO and the moulding on the door looks wierd aswell

to me this raceroom model ain't all that

also i was only going to do skins from pm3dm version and i'm sat there going "these skins are already done on this car is it really worth my time messing around with f302 version when those things are niggling away at me with the model?" thats basically where my thoughts were.

thanks for the tempolate it is golden its just the car i aint keen on and its all stuff i cannot change

thk,with fer 499, I found these parameters 7800 up down 5555, I had to raise the limiter in engine.iniin ills Metropark I went down to 1.09.141 but it's difficult to keep it in the curve
 
Hi, I have an issue of pink texture of car Peugeot 908 HDI 2011 from this free Le Mans 2011 pack ().



Any idea how to resolve it (I am not the only to face it)? Thanks, multi
