Hey guys, anyone knows if is it possible to use both the AVR_suzuka 2025 and the Pyver F1 extension? I was trying it but I got transparent “asphalt” in half of the track.

had same issue ,not sure if there is a better solution but what i did was duplicate the track folder,models_***** file and the same track folder inside the ui folder ,then i copy the avr_suzuka files into the duplicate files/folders.
Pyyer extension need to be installed manually not drag&drop thru CM, might be why 🤷‍♂️
 
Why you even want that?
Is it about a track, car or scriptable display?

Maybe a sign with the current weather?

How you want to dynamically control something in the ext_config with such dynamic input?
In a condition?
I would like the trees and terrain to turn white when the snow weather is selected. I do this with the seasons from an ext_config.ini file. But when I select the snow weather, the terrain remains green. Thanks
 
Er.......I think it's not important so.........too lazy to fix it.........
Hope you´re not too lazy to fix the adverts around the track, since it is a mixture of outdated F1 billboards and current ones, which don´t add a value to the atmosphere. Maybe remove them and have the track more look like a trackday variant without F1 signature around.

Yes! I found a way to do it. I'll prepare a hotfix for Pure right now.

You can then use "SNOW" as input for the condition like that:

[CONDITION_...]
NAME=SEASON_WINTER
INPUT=SNOW
LUT = (|-1=0|0=0|0.3=1.0|1=1|)
LAG=0


I think the hotfix will be available this evening....

The track sides are transparent and I can't select any object to figure out what's there and what properties that object has. Can anyone check if this is a common problem or just mine? I suspect a CSP setting (latest) or maybe a bad ext_config.ini file, but it worked well in the past. Thank you.
set "CSP\General Patch Settings\CPU Optimizations\Chunks optimization" to "Basic"

I know it's almost impossible to get everyone to agree, but if there's a track that needs updating or giving a little life to, that everyone likes, I'm open to suggestions.. ;)

A great track that in my humble opinion is the 1967 Nurburgring by WilliamTRiker. That racetrack doesn't even have CSP functions like rain fx and similars. Would it be very nice to see it updated to the new standards

One of my all-time favorite racetracks, "Horsma Raceway," with its smooth flow and great curves, deserves some polish. It's truly great to drive and never boring in any of its layouts.
 
Talking about quirky AC / CM / CSP thangs... I can't get rid of this. And only AC is affected so yeah, I'm willing to bet it's yet another CSP or Cm bug lol

Fenryr has released an update of the Nordschleife, incl. the updated (higher) curb at the Fuchsröhre exit.



I think I will delete the Kunos one now, since this ACC convert is ages better than the outdated vanilla one. Hope @Pyyer you will convert your extension(s) to it soonish. Do you guys know if it is possible to transfer the driven distance from one track to another in CM?

The new updates create so many weird issues, I'll stick with 0.1.79.

But some CM updates have created new issues to that version as well. Cars suddenly start crashing on the walls, etc. I don't know what's going on. Maybe some new physics option is now set "on" as default. Hmm...

If you go to LAP TIMES, you can see specific tracks/cars, then sort them out.
If you enter "NORDSCHLEIFE" in the search bar, it will bring those times
If the track/car isnt there anymore, its going to be greyed out instead of white, but you can still see that best time

Nah I meant the driven distance on the track. Would be nice I see my mileage from the Kunos Nordschleife as well on the Fenryr one. Weird request, I know.

If you haven't driven around fenryr one yet then why would you want to make it look like you have? They are the same track but in the world of pixels and gaming they are different.
As an aside I bloody hate that track, can't believe anyone can drive it that much.... how do you stop the boredom?

it is basic. I even disabled it but no avail.

You know, it works with CSP 0.1.79 but Pure is not working with that. So is CSP but not chunk optimization. Some other "optimization" damn it!

EDIT: You are not going to believe it, but is "CSP>Grass Fx>Skip loading of old grass meshes" if is checked. So, the sand on the Bahrain sides is treated like an old grass mesh.

This is just a "data" file and tyre skin for STFWFL (FSR) Volvo 850 estate BTCC

no file structure it will need to be manually installed (make a copy of the data file incase you dont like what i have done for whatever reason)

what i have done:

changed it to FWD it was never RWD

made slight adjustments to the suspension so the rear tyres don't clip through the wheel arch

put the correct dunlop tyre side walls on
 
Can someone explain what causes this with the Montreal track and how to fix it?

I've served my time there but I'm no Nordschleife expert, so a genuine question: what is it that makes this ACC conversion so much better than the native AC version?
I just did a couple of laps and noticed lots of trackside trees with borked normals, and lots of trackside trees floating above the grass.
You might want to hold onto the AC version for a little while longer until Fenryr does some replanting.

The proper tree shader seems to be used everywhere so the borked normals can be fixed by adding this to the end of the main config:

This kind of stuff is always true with Fenryr tracks, no idea why people are trying to hop on this train so violently. They will be fixed in time, either by him or by others, and eventually it'll be a worthy addition to the library. Like all of his tracks, it pays very handsomely to be patient.

I also don't understand why anyone would get rid of the Kunos Nords. As far as I can remember, it's an early laser scan - and a damn good one at that. There have been some minor alterations to the track since (there's a few corners on the ACC version late in the lap that have different exit kerbs and angles), so why not simply rename the Kunos version to "Nurburgring 2016"?

Makes no sense to me to delete such a high quality track, especially one with such a wide gulf in time between that one and ACC's 2024 rendition.
