I contacted marc also in private and I wrote a few pages ago that the conversation had to end. That I would continue to talk to him privately.
So you should not have continued the discussion.

Actually you continued it but I'm glad it had a happy ending.

EDIT: Ohhh it looks like it's not going to have a happy ending...making popcorn

If you buy from Sim Dream you are complicit.
The truth is that you are all beggars without respect.
I am the author and I must shut up.
all this is Crazy....
Go ahead like this, one day you will be judged for your actions.

Thank`s man, didn`t realise this until today; I`ll promise to better myself :indiff: No offence, but, who are you to judge about people you don`t have any clou about?

Can't wait:cheers:, did you came up with this one or is that what they tell you on Sunday?:D Can we repent in any way or are we all condemn? :sly:

If you think Sim Dream is a thief, then you shouldn't even buy it.

I didnt. And the upgrade is nice.
And you coming in here and telling everyone what they can and cant talk about, what they do, with what ever they have, is laughable.

You don't like it - take it up with SD. If I wanted to make every change to the car I could,I would and you sure as hell aren't telling me what I can do with it...

And to think your even trying to squash any and all talks of it, as in your the judge is even more laughable.

I seem to have been polite and I looked for a discussion here. But many of you are only able to fill me with ****.
With Marc I had a very polite dialogue in private, and he was understanding and respectful towards me, saying he would keep the mod private.
Sim Dream is responsible for this mess, it is not necessary to carry out any attack against ASR and myself.
With this closed the discussion.

Well thats all fine and dandy in your fantasy land with your privy talk. What are you going to do with those of us that have it that share it with other people, other than Marc supplying it?

This is a SD problem, not ours.

OK playing devils advocate for a minute, i got some RSS mods for free from VK, so if i changed some stuff in the data file can i post them up here for download?

Yes you can post the data file that is useless unless you have the base mod, just like an aftermarket part for a car or the data replacements on RD by Arch that are from the Japanese DLC.

As far as how and where you got the base mod that you edited goes, not my concern.

But isn't marc saying we have to prove we already own the simdream mod?
If not then great i'll take a copy of his improvements then...but i am sure i read it as "you prove you have purchased simdream mod and you get the tweaks..."

He said and i quote...
"If you have already the 1992 mod, p.m me to have a link to my rework..."
So i must purchase the simdream mod then.....
Why not simply just give us the whole mod?

How does ASR not know this marc is part of simdream and getting simdream sales?

i'm not affiliated with sim dream in any parts, i just love old f1 cars, and they representations in assetto corsa....so i bought it, tried to improve it with my poors skills, and tried also to share, communicate my passion....so i bought illegal conversion. ASR ask to me to do not share their mod, for me its ok.
Now that they are getting along with Sim Dream to solve their problems.
Sorry to pollute the forum with this story. End for me.

I found out last night (by a friend), the same kind of problem with my last work for the Tyrrell P34.

Here F1classic and here

A fine example of bad faith, these guys are appropriating the work of others without mentioning them.

I am not crying, i'm an adult but the method is disrespectful in relation to the work provided.

I hope Marc, you’re not leaving the forum because one or two guys are not happy.

Your work is incredible compared to the original version, really.

Sad day :(

Do you spit in people 's faces demanding respect for yourself?
In this way, you will achieve the opposite.
You need to find a way to solve the problem. Instead, you want to make the community decide it.
To solve the problem, first it is necessary to recognize the fact of its existence.
You keep acting like you can press ctrl+z.
You can 't - the mod has already gone online. A huge number of people who do not read this forum share it with each other in each country in local community forums.
The only right decision you can make is to allow mod to spread for free. It will be punishment for simdream. Do you want respect for yourself? You 'll get it. And if you keep being angry, stomp your feet, to turn time back, forcing someone to remove the mod - just turn people away from yourself. But don 't solve the problem all the same.

Who the hell do you think you are?

Judged for your actions? No man has the right to judge anyone.

I don't normally comment on stuff like this but I've watched how you have conducted yourself.

2019-Nov-04 !!!FORMULA ONE 1975 v1.2 RELEASED!!!

From the golden age of Formula One, now brought into your mancave, this is the Assetto Corsa Historic F1C 1975 mod!
Bonus Car: TYRRELL P34 six wheeler with built from scratch physics included.

The origins of this mod are from the early days modding heroes of simracing. Therefore I would like to thank Team CREW for the original Mod; further credits in the release notes, download link below.

Special thanks to:

-Donnie Heerdt/ Smallblock Hero for all the modding lessons & Ned for his awesome skins.

-F1 Classics Forum

This is a conversion of the original mod to Assetto Corsa, with two ks models (Ferrari 312T and Lotus72) added. Therefore you will need the Lotus DLC to play the Lotus 72E. Installation of these cars is explained in the attached PDF also filled with lots of background information on the cars.

Enjoy and may the downforce be with you!

Hi guys,
I have a track called Helsinki thunder from gilles75 that was used in 90's DTM. It's a good track but it's too much bumpy. Who knows how to remove those bumps?
Thanks.

So basically, I have to understand this community that uses my mod without permission, but the people of this community can't understand me?
I remember that I made this mod for rF1 free. And it should be used for this purpose. Who has other purposes, for onesty and correctness maybe ask me permission.
This does not only apply to Sim Dream.

I don't think you have the right to re-produce the 1992 cars anyway, have you got an agreement with Ferrari, Mclaren etc? you're just as much in the wrong as anybody else, nobody giving away or re-working mods is doing it purposley to hurt anybodies pockets, they just want to share their love of the game and the cars with the community.

Theres a reason why intelligent creators like RSS, VRC etc don't use real car manufactures names. He does. The irony runs as thick as sub-zero Canadian maple syrup.

Might be able to help. Depends what the rest of the conversion looks like. That is, will it be worth fixing. Anyway post a link (or PM) and I'll see what I think.

Just admit Intellectual Property is a myth and all this kerfuffle would disappear.
You do realise that your Parents own every word you ever speak as they where the ones who taught you to speak.
I know that is 'Reductio ad absurdum' but it serves enough to make everyone doubt their own so called 'rights' to anything.
