Assetto Corsa PC Mods General DiscussionPC

[MrB00]

For those who run triples, have you seen this bezel-free kit you can get?

Well, it's a VGT car so pure fantasy, but supposedly grounded in reality. VGT cars tend to be high-speed downforce monsters though - the manufacturers involved want to make something futuristic and exciting to promote their brand.

👍
I still think the best one of these was the GT by Citroen from a few years back. Now that actually looked like something that should have gone into production...I think they actually had a working one of those didn't they?

[Fall Guy]

Hi guys, is there a way to fix this weird looking background at KS Barcelona? Driven this for ages but never realized that we have such a background here. All latest CSP / SOL / track config is installed btw.

Aye. Here's one at Goodwood :

Which rendering API does Asetto Corsa Launcher Use?
I tried updating Reshade now.

nevermind, its 3D 10/11/12 option

They love to have heaps of hot garbage wank mods and show that you can't have it. Its an imbalance in the attention seeking node on the left side of the cranium.
I hear it gives a giddy, tingly feeling to those that suffer. Like a dopamine drip.

Aren't you the one who said the tomahawk looks 10x worse then RTM?

[Masscot]

Anyone know anything about shifting animations?
Specifically why inverting the shifting hands almost always borks the animation rather than just doing what it says?
I've found a perfect sequential shifting animation for the BTTC Primera, but it's on a LHD car. Adding it to the RHD Primera and inverting the shifting hands in driver3D just makes the driver push his hand through the steering wheel like a drunk ghost.

[Real Toonces]

just looked up the RTM site and found this. Kinda sad that we still don't have a free chaparral 2d.

Phil Hill said it wasn't much fun to drive irl. Only one gear forward (with a slushy torque converter). The 2J fan car probably would've been more fun, with it's huge downforce.

a Volvo, a Mondeo, a.. damn

Full grid I believe...Honda Accord, BMW, Vauxhall, Renault.....

I came across a few BTCC car packs from 'AC car mods' on VK. Not the worse and found it to be good fun.

[SpeedStar2000]

to be fair the packs on VK is the simdream ones.

[Delta7Fox]

Hello, this car is now available.
Alpine A 364 Formula 3

The face on the right side was weirdly realistic looking i have never seen that before on AC

Thank you, that's Nicolas Larini himself and i'll soon be sharing this mod.

Shaun Clarke has a very decent BTCC pack on his wixsite (Free, I mean).
But a lot a people bash on the guy because of his mods, never quite understood why...

How do you update reshade?I installed it once 2 years back from rd and never did anything else.

[Ruhisu]

amazing video! the sounds! cant wait for you to release improved C8R, what 488 gte are you using?

As a Corvette fan I second that. Can't wait for the updated version.
I also Wonder how URD are doing with their C8R since I remember a screenshot of the Michigan C8R back in november and it did look gorgeous

well everyone knows about model available over gamemodels.ru...

maybe someone from here wanna give a try...

[Elio92]

What year is that car?

Early 70’s and this one 1972.

A long time ago, in the galaxy of rFactor, I skinned a lot this car (also like the Formula Nippon 2008).

The initial mod has been made by a french man (He made a Lola too) and I was a moderator on the forum where we downloaded it (and participated to the betas).

[Kran]

Very true, but in the case of no rain on the windshield, it is a CSP1.38 or .39 issue, going back to 1.35 will fix it, that is the last version with rain on the windshield. Until they get it fix in the future updates, that is.

Was there a solution to this problem in the description? It was - to switch to another version. I think my advice was relevant?

[P1ButtPlug]

Aren't you the one who said the tomahawk looks 10x worse then RTM?

Yup, they're both lucky enough to be filling the landfill. Now go back to discord.
BTW, why are you drinking shampoo?

Very true.

It's a little bit strange to see some of my skins used in this video many years later !

By the way, It was "PixSim" which realized this mod in 2011 !

Oh oh, I wasn't aware Dan Bucsa "reborned" this car, It's so beautiful and amazing to get this car in Assetto Corsa now !👍

If @Turnup will be here soon, I think he will be able to talk about the helmets used in this version..!

[Spyrious]

I run into a weird problem...While ac had loaded the track and i was in the screen where you either click the steering wheel to race or the spanner to setup the car,my cat sat on the keyboard. Now i can see the car from a weird angle.Replays are unwatchable. The view is 90 degrees tilted and i see some parts of the cars through the graphics. Is there a way to reset it?Thanks

I like his mods. I ditched another BTCC mod because I felt his were better. Shaun does amazing work, imo.

Did you guys see the holy grail of ACC converts?
https://www.mediafire.com/file/juca91ylcewm856/1st_mclaren_720s_gt3.7z/file
Author is 1st Racing Studio. The mod came out of nowhere.
Physics are completely similar to 650 GT3 according to CM.

Not the 720s GT3.
Rear wing and roof give it away.

[spearhead04]

just got ac and wow is it awesome! it literally feels like i'm back in rfactor 1! so many mods! had a choice to pick between this and rfactor 2 and damn did i make a right decision!

Oh. I always get fooled by these kind of stuff.
Does it look like a modified road version?

[MrB00]

@Masscot Meant to ask if you got your RTM showroom working?

[LeFrota]

So, we cant ask for anyone share a mod, converted without permission and selled by scammers ? Its out of the rules.
