I did a couple of laps (stock settings) on vanilla Imola (because It's a Ferrari !) with a great pleasure, thank you !

I got no issue/or message during the loading with it (I'm using CSP 0.1.46 with the very last version of CM), all my drivers are up to date (last nVidia released today !).

I just noted two (little) issues :
- no indication about using the lights (dashboard got the led but, here, It doesn't appear),
- no glowing brakes.

I repeat, the car is a pleasure to drive, to see and to hear (^^), thanks a lot again !

I like it, but it's not as pleasant to drive as Mr. Waffles reworked Hyundai Genesis. It's BoP puts it right square in the GT4 pack, but unlike the Genesis, which is fast right out of the box, the 488's default setup takes quite a bit of fiddling before it feels right to me. My suggested setup is attached.

Ever since a3rdperson made the showroom model for the Mercedes AMG GT3 EVO extension made by AGU (which deserves an update since the main mod got recently updated), I want someone to fix its offline data.acd file since it gives me an error whenever I try to drive it ingame and when I analyze it, it gives me a message about tyres.ini which I can fix it, but it comes back again when I re-analyze it.

Just have to say after trying it out that the Ferrari 488 GT4 mod by @Sylana82 is probably one of the best fictional car mods I’ve used in Assetto Corsa thus far. Coming from the same guy that brought you the Callaway C7.R, it’s to be expected. This new 488 adds a lot to a class that is just now starting to rapidly expand and covers ground that hasn’t really been explored yet. It’s very interesting seeing a $300,000 Ferrari going up against a $30,000 Hyundai in the same class and having competitive racing together.

Makes my list of top 3 GT4 cars in Assetto Corsa easily. I just hope the 458 is in the pipes because that has the potential to leapfrog the 488 for my top spot.

The Pioneer skin has an interesting effect where the roof remains red despite other skins working fine. It looks really cool with the red accent lines on the side and I think you should leave it as-is if you end up using that skin.

[AC Modder]

2nd gear does not auto shift up to 3rd gear. How can I fix it?

Sorry, cannot help you, I have no knowledge of how auto shifting works in AC..

Thank you for your work on that car, the interior looks better than the original. I have a question about the back of the car, the original had the badges but yours does not have any. Did you forgot them or is it an artistic decision?

I don't think is the same original model, as you can see below, this is the mod I've started from, and there is no rear badge.
May I know where you download it from? If it is better, I could replace it in the next GT5-S release!

You need to unpack the data and edit the file drivetrain.ini, in there you can find auto-upshift and you have to select the rpms you want the car to do the authomatic upshift.

I tried to do it with several cars. Sometimes it works, but most times not.
Many mod cars have this trouble with shifting from 2 to 3 in auto.

In both cases if DOWN=xxx is too close too UP=xxx then in the time it takes to shift up the RPM may drop below this figure and the auto box will then try to change down again, and you get stuck in a gear.

i tried this mod, it looks very good, but i think u could improve it: i think that it hadles more like a slower gt3 car than a gt4, it should be stiffer, the brakes should be less powerful and it should be in general more difficult to drive.
But is a very good mod, don't take this as hate, just some feedback.

Unfortunately, I cannot help you at all, I've never seen this error, this is news to me. I've downgraded my CSP from 1.48 to 1.46 specifically for you, but it seems I can't replicate any errors. Instead it just runs fine for me. I've also CSP and SOL installed and Sol_ACC PP filter used. Does this error occur only on my 488 mod?

Anyone knows what this kind of error is?

EDIT: Wait, did this solution of @Blamer fixed it for you? Sorry, I just saw the post now.

Thanks @Blamer and @Sylana82 for your quick support. Tried above suggestion without succes.

Deleted the car folder, redownloaded and reinstalled manually. Then updated to CSP 1.48. Then in CSP activated and deactivated each extension from top to bottom. Also played around with different resolutions, swapped between 2D and VR. Changed PP filters and turned them off completely. Each time the same error message.

I decided to test some other cars as well. About 30 in total of different brands. And now comes the funny/strange part. All others cars work but out of six Ferrari Pista versions two off them gave the exact same error screen. The Ferrari 488 Pista Piloti Ferrari and the default Ferrari 488 Pista by Zari team (the other four versions by Beto work perfectly). So I assume it has nothing to do with your Ferrari 488 GT4 mod itself.

Anyone any other idea how to fix this? I finally did some file/folder comparison between a working Ferrari 488 and this one. Is that the right direction?

If you could do that, you'd be my new favourite person, for some reason I've not really worked out it's just impossible to get a link for that road car anywhere on the internet (and I've been down a few weird and long winded foreign language AC sites to get some of the stuff I know is out there).

Yeah that's what I did with it

That error frequently comes up with improperly cloned cars. tyres.ini is not the problem per se, car name and folder doesn't match so data.acd won't work. CM picks up on tyres.ini.

If your folder name is ks_mercedes_amg_gt3_2020, use the attached data.acd (rename first). It's from the latest version on RD and adapted to that folder name.

Thanks. I'm a road racing guy (I was on the GPL beta team), not a rally guy. I'm interested in what Assetto guys have to say about rally sims, not what rally guys have to say. I'm funny that way.

I only have WRC 8 myself and I like it. But I don't really play that much because ACC and AC.

Looks like Guerilla is grabbing the skins from RD and adding to their files. 👍 Hopefully Arjanren creates some European GT Series liveries for the McLarean 570S and Porsche Cayman 718.
