yeah but i mean if i named the disc object DISC_LF can I just use that name in the file? Because if not and that I have to change the disc name for all cars it'll be a big painwe take the names of objects from here

Naturally, there is no need to change the names of objects in kn5! we just take the names of the objects of each disk (shown in the screenshot) and write them in brakes.iniBecause if not and that I have to change the disc name for all cars it'll be a big pain
no i don't think you understand.Naturally, there is no need to change the names of objects in kn5! we just take the names of the objects of each disk (shown in the screenshot) and write them in brakes.ini
to lines
DISC_LF=
DISC_RF=
DISC_LR=
DISC_RR=
Sardegna. You know which GT tracks to AC would be cool ? Cape Ring / Circuito de la Sierra / Circuito de Madrid / Circuito di Roma / London / Matterhorn.
The often forgotten tracks. But that's just wishful thinking
Thanks. Will give that a try. This can happen if there is an incorrect value in car.ini in the line
STEER_RATIO=
For some cars, positive STEER_RATIO values are relevant, for others - negative. in other words, if there is a problem, simply add a minus (-) in front of the given value, or vice versa, remove it.
I understand everything, yes, enter DISC_LF if this is your object name for the disk.so DISC_LF=DISC_LF ?
Being a Londoner, having an accurate version of that Piccadilly Circus/Shaftesbury Avenue/Charing Cross Road/Trafalgar Square/Haymarket area has been a dream of mine for many years. You know which GT tracks to AC would be cool ? That one too ! But I'd like to see tracks I can't race on since my PS3 died years ago lol.Sardegna.

You have to disable "Dynamic shadows" in "Lighting FX"
You're right, well it "helped", but at the same time it took away one (dynamic shadows) of the things that make this game so realistic. SadYou have to disable "Dynamic shadows" in "Lighting FX"
In theory there shouldn't be any problems, after all it's an equation. DISC_AB (generic, replace AB with any position) is the keyword that makes Assetto Corsa understand that it is a brake disc and must behave in a certain way. Anything equal to DISC_AB is valid, even DISC_AB.no i don't think you understand.
The name of the disc is DISC_LF
so DISC_LF=DISC_LF ?
With the new Pure LCS 0.4 please just use the "pure" or "purerCandy" ppfilter! "pureLinear" is just a ppfilter for Pure Gamma and will just use the standard script in Pure LCS.I just installed the new Pure 1.40 and did a comparison to the default linear mode.
For me personally, the greenery in the defalut LCS version looks more realistic, especially the penetration of light between the leaves. Overall, for my eyes, image is more crisp. Am I the only one who notices this?
Peter, what makes this difference?
1. standard Pure + pure PP
2. linear Pure + pureLinear PP
3. default LCS + Vision Reality LCS 1.0 PP
4. default LCS + pureLinear PP
well i guess it doesn't because it's not glowing under heavy braking. I'll try with another nameIn theory there shouldn't be any problems, after all it's an equation. DISC_AB (generic, replace AB with any position) is the keyword that makes Assetto Corsa understand that it is a brake disc and must behave in a certain way. Anything equal to DISC_AB is valid, even DISC_AB.
So if you choose DISC_LF as the name of your left front brake disc, AC will understand that DISC_LF is the mesh relating to the left front disc to be associated with the DISC_LF keyword.
Works great...That one too ! But I'd like to see tracks I can't race on since my PS3 died years ago lol.
Hi, I'm pleased to announce the public release of my 2nd track, Grand Valley Speedway for Assetto Corsa.
36 pits, Decent AI, Grass and Rain fx, 4 layouts (complete, east and their respective backs)
You can download it right now for free on my patreon (pinned post), link in the video description.
By the way, next Sunday I'll be doing an online track day, I haven't decided the time but I'll soon announce it on patreon along with the details (obviously free post), so if you want to participate stay tuned.
If you like what I do and want to support me you can subscribe to some of the levels and get benefits like early access to tracks in development, voting on the next track, or billboards with your names/logos.
Finally here is the video:
Indeed.Sardegna.

That shouldn't make any trouble, you could read it as DISC_LF.null and DISC_LF.mesh, even if the name is the same, the "extension" and purpose is not, so the software doesn't read it in the same way.no i don't think you understand.
The name of the disc is DISC_LF
so DISC_LF=DISC_LF ?
Ah, Kyoto Park.Indeed.
Plus Alsace and Kyoto.
All three done to the same standard as Lago Maggiore and St Croix would be very worthwhile additions.

Need some help troubleshooting a problem with the V8SCorsa mustang: a flickering shadow on the inside of the windscreen decal.
I've tried toggling various shadow categories in CSP settings without any luck, however since I don't get this problem with any other car I suspect its a problem with the mod rather than my settings.
The problem is that for the first time since the start of the year Nuzzi seems out of the project... it's been nearly a month since his last post and he also doesn't answer to my private message on Patreon... let's hope he's on a holiday and that he will comeback 'cause this app is one of the best thing ever happened to this game, it can't be left like thisI'm having the same problem and I've tried everything to try and get the app to work. I've uninstalled it and redownloaded, manual install, CSP 2.4 preview, CSP 2.3, different types of cars, different types of tracks, enabled all extended physics in CSP settings and the extended physics on the race now screen in CM. I even tried old versions of the app, from 2.6, 2.7 and 2.8. Also tried starting the AI on different compounds, pitting them on different laps, ect. Nothing I do seems to work for me.
Funny you should mention that pack and window issues. For as long as I've had them, the interior windows for the Falcon are all pixelated. Tried doing things like you posted (dirt FX off, hiding layers, transparency toggled), before and just again now, but can't seem to hide the layer obscuring the windows (different issue and car than you were facing). Just the Falcon too. Maybe someone has a fix for this issue? If you zoom in on the photos you can see the pixelation pattern.Posting for posterity if anyone else is looking for the solution:
From the Content Manager preview, move the camera inside the car and click the windscreen banner decal, toggle transparent to YES & save.
This one? https://www.assettoworld.com/track/tokyo-r246I would like to see Tokyo expressway in ac. I know existed shuto but I would love to see another track in the Tokyo highway. View attachment 1369476
Something is not properly set then! It should look like in Pure Gamma! Could you make a screenshot in HDR with opened Pure Config app "PP" tab and activate the tonemapping curve debug:Had a chance to try the new Pure LCS tonight and for those with a similar use case to mine, I'd recommend sticking to Gamma for now (latest version is fine).
I'm on an HDR10 panel (LG OLED) and LCS produces a very washed out image at the moment. I have all the HDR bells and whistles enabled in the DXGI panel of CSP, and enabled Pure LCS in WeatherFX. I think Peter mentioned somewhere above that only Pure and Pure Candy PPFs are currently supported with 0.4, but I tried both of those as well as AEGIS and PureHDR and pretty much everything looks unnaturally bright and strange. Going back to Pure Gamma in the Weather Controller fixed everything right up (with AEGIS or PureHDR) and had the proper HDR tone mapping again.
So I'm sticking with this version of Gamma for the immediate and medium-term future, and I'd recommend all others on true HDR10 panels do the same. Very interested to check in on LCS as time passes, but it looks like for my specific use case it's a no go for now.
No worries, I've read the documentation and understand its advantages, and further understand the annoying undertaking a Pure re-write for it is. Thanks again to Peter for this essential graphics mod.
One more note/question on this post - I've tried for a while to force Pure lighting on in online races, whether hosted by myself or in leagues or pubs. It always either defaults to an ancient version of Sol or nothing at all. Is the controller for Pure server side, and if so, how can I enable it in AC Server Manager? Cheers to anyone who may know.
With the new Pure 1.40 you don't have an option to set LCS. Pure Gamma 1.0 only uses the Gamma shaders and Pure LCS 0.4 only uses the LCS shaders. Both weather styles set the needed CSP shaders automatically in the background.Dumb question... Where in CM is LCS located? I just went line by line and cannot see it. Running 0.2.3. I saw it before, but my eyes cannot see it now!
Edit: Because I had the Pure LCS under weather style selected, the LCS option disappears. It shows under the default weather style when selected.
