Got bored and decided to go trough all the liveries i had for Crash's GT3-R and give them proper year, series, number & team so they appear in correct order in CM Grab it here if you want it. None of the liveries are made by me, Is around 122 liveries of various qualities

Some liveries might not be named correctly, Some of them were a bit hard to figure out, and i didn't bother enabling any of the sprint/endurance presets on any of them. So all of the liveries except a few of them will be just be in sprint package.

The link seems to be broken, could you please re-up the skins?

Skin Naming Standardization (A Proposal)

1- skin name in windows is same as skin name in ui_skin.json

- then, at a glance (in Windows Explorer) you can see that skin is properly named, and all is sorted alphabetically

- use "_"(underscore) to separate data types in the name (because it sets a standard)
eg. nls22_#18-kcmg, the underscore separates series/year from car number/name

- use "-"(dash) to separate words in a name (same thing, it sets a standard)

- only 2 digits for the year (I think we can figure out 1900s from 2000s without 4)

- skip using "motorsports", "racing", "team" et cetera
- the full team name goes in the team name field of ui_skin.jason
where you can use uppercase


2- No upper case characters in the name.
- upper case characters leave the car NOT recording details to the system
eg. your laptimes are not recorded for later review.

3- Don't make the name so long!
- we're not here for literature. Just the facts, abbreviated.

4- The name layout

(My system has been this way for years now. Alot of skin massaging is done as soon as I get them)

These cars above would need adjustments made to the "DATA" folder and some new skins added.

• Brabham BT26 (3 versions),
• McLaren M7A (4 versions),
• Matra Ms10 (4/5 versions),
• Matra Ms11 (only new skins),
• Lotus 49B (4 versions)

In these cars, only minor adjustments and new skins added.
Now we just have to wait.

Yup, that works, but, for example:

It might be better but aesthetically unpleasing to look at, too many diff characters lol

Although I started with series / year / number / team I quickly realised I didn't need the team / driver name (only exception is F1, it's number/driver/round) in there as well as everything is referenced in CM (down to the chassis number for certain cars).

But it's nice to see other people's method of organising stuff !

I did it for a long time.....download the skin and rename it directly.....but one day it became too time-consuming....and it´s difficult if there is a skin update on Overtake.....you have to search the folder again

But what are you trying to find, because what I do is when notice a great plane, like I love to see a “banner” plane, for after war circuits (1945-1971), I just copy this preferred plane and put this in my favorite track.
I do hope I spell banner plane right.

3D modeling and such is beyond my capabilities, I'm a self taught skin maker so I'm limited on skills for tracks and that sort of thing. I merely was remarking with all the extensions and improvements to that track, which happens to be one of my favorites, (second only to Nordschleife), I guess that's why it it's so obvious to me, I think updated aircraft would be period correct to go along with all the improvements.
Maybe when I retire I'll have time to explore that subject.

What a revelation this is in comaparison to vanilla! Question though:

In AC vanilla I don't see every skin to choose from, whereas in CM I do. Why is this?
Not that I will continue via AC Vanilla, but would be nice seeing all of the skins in there too.

I don't know for sure, but I seem to remember that vanilla AC has a limit on the number of mods it can handle... It might have something to do with it...

Even I encountered the problem a long time ago that the stock AC launcher froze at 100% car metadata.Since then I haven't even tried to launch the game in vanilla)))

You mean settings? Which settings? CM has ton of absolutely devastating settings, in terms of negative performance

What specific airplane do you wanting to see and what specific track are you talking about that you want to exchange the airplane for. For the track you can give me the link from the @Breathe tracklist, and for the airplane show me an internet picture.
Be aware I can not as a sample program active helicopters that follow you from the start or similar, only exchanging the flying object.
