Sometimes I always feel like i'm the only one that knows the backway to the Suburb outpost but everytime I'm MEC and defend it it's not till most of our other bases are taken that they come over.

Yeah i get the feeling that i'mn the only person playing BF2 with my eyes and ears open.

On a side, one thing that really pisses me off is when some guy jumps into the vehicle you're running for and you say "Gimme a ride" and he buggers off. I've got 90% of my TKs from sticking rockets up the arse of vehicle snatchers. I dunno if that's because they don't check the map to see who needs a lift or what, but it's so frustrating. If i'm in a vehicle and i see a team mate on the map ahead of me i'll drive towards them and toot the ol' horn. Everytime i get in a vehicle and someone says "Gimme a ride" (in whatever language) i stop, press M and see who it is, if they're near me i'll wait, if not i'll go get them. I swear i'm the only person who does this. Team work?

I have seen players pack a black hawk with c4 and blow it up while im in it. I don't get why people teamkill. I once got a medic who kept stabbing me and then healing me. I asked him why and he said i like healing!!

Maybe there tactics for C4 helis fell apart. If your going to put C4 on anything you might aswell run and hide while watching where you packed C4.

Then when the other team goes past it hit the button and see the fireworks fly mate.

The medic was stat padding. If you don't know, he was killing you, and then reviving you to get points out of it. If you don't punish, he stands to get quite a few i believe.

I had somebody doing this to me the other day, basically hosed me with the LA85 and then revived me. He said sorry, but he can't have done that by accident. So i stabbed him and called him a f-ing stat padder. Justice. I'm not in the best mood today

I only play on the demo server, somtimes the guys sit in the turret on the Aircraft Carrier and gun their whole team. Because they think its funny?

I always punish arseholes like that. What does punishing do anyway? Do they get banned after a certain amount?

Hmm, after a certain amount yes i think you get kicked off the server and then after another amount you get banned. I've heard of people accidently crashing a BH full of team mates and getting banned because of it. So that's about 6 TKs.

The TKing and blaming/rewarding system does blow a bit. I was flying around in a jet and an enemy chopper rose from some trees in front of me. I plowed straight into it killing all of us, but some how i got the kills on the other two and one of them got a kill on me. This reverses seemingly at random sometimes and rewards the others with the kills.

The majority of my unintentional TKs are from reversing over people in a panic i.e. i'm trying to get my vehicle out of a base that's be arty'd and don't have time to check if it's clear. Makes me sound like such a n00b, but i really don't TK very often at all. Once every 10 rounds maybe.

Its funny after getting like 5 more kills then deaths in my first 4 rnds on one server, after it people started to hunt me down more. And even pushed the tempo up.

But before I left the server i got back to beating those people it felt so good folks. Also I met my first stat padding person.

When i have a mid air collision it seems to be random who gets the kills.

But if i crashed with people on board no one gets the kill. It just says [DQuaN25]is no more, [name]is no more, [name2]is no more e.t.c

If you TK a certain amount, you should get courtmarshalled or something. Aka, kicked and banned for the session. Probably after 3-5 TK's.

Anyway, depending on the situation, I'm a Spec Ops, Assault, or Medic. USMC is where it's at. I always have the best luck with them, and because I don't have to bother with reading the CR announcements.

I'm always a medic when I'm part of a killing party. It's useful at Karkand and etc. The M16 is a hell of a weapon. I never die from the gun of the man I'm engaging. Plus, the benefit of being able to revive people that are killed in battle is unbelievable. Always have 2 medics in your party if you're going on a hunt with a group.

Spec Ops are great, a lot better than AT's, Imo. If you're sneaky and good at evasion, you can just run up and C4 the crap out of most armored vehicles. I don't bother with the AT and the lousy Mp5 and that Cartridge gun. the M4 gives you tons of range, and isn't too bad for close range situations, anyway. I can go totally solo as a Spec Ops or be fine with a party due to the anti-armor abilities. I find Spec Ops are most effective in a party of two or three. Usually with another Spec Ops or Assault unit, and with a Support unit. The lack of Ammo is Spec Ops's downfall, so always make sure you can stay packed and loaded.

Assault is just fun. I like to use them in the same types of parties as Spec Ops, or just all out solo. I can take out so many dudes with my M16 at all ranges, it's unbelievable. The only thing is that I can't take out armored vehicles. That kind of sucks. Otherwise, I'm a straight-up DG.

Which is the most powerful basic machine gun? I use the demo server so there are harly ever any unlocked guns, just whatever the default is for that character. But alot of the time when i'm doing CQC as special ops, it takes a good long burst of rapid fire to take someone down. But if they return fire, i drop in half a second

Either the AK-101 or M16A2 are good guns, the M16 being more accurate and the AK having more power

Bah played BF2 yesterday I think it was and easily earnt 70 points (More like well over 100) yet I never gained the rank and according to the stats I'm still like 20 points off. Is the per round score halved or something?

I seem to have a tendancy for Blackhawks to drop on my head

Dunc, you're dropping like a fly because Spec Ops don't have body armor, and you're probably trying to rambo-down some armor wielding classes.

When you're spec ops, you need to be as stealthy as possible. You have a laser-scope for a reason. Pick off meathead-Joe when he's not throwing a full assault after you.

Ontopic: Probably my fav. assault rifle is the AK-101 (MEC). Looks great, sounds pant-pooingly scary and kick arse at close range, and single shot long range works too 👍

Had so much fun as AT class last night. The DAO isn't the best weapon, but it's so much fun and proper devastating.

I think i'm playing BF2 more now after the 1.03 patch than before, the game just seems more fun to play.

In the end i just left. But these people are so immature. And the others were too stupid to realise it. Like I see the team killer jump in to a black hawk. I'm like, there is no way im getting in there. But loads of other people do. I said don't get in, he'll kill you. Sure enough, a full black hawk takes off and then dives into the sea

It's so true. People don't communicate enough/pay enough attention whilst playing. Everyone should have headsets and use them. The team playing has so much potential, but sometimes (and i didn't think it was possible) blows and sucks at the same time.

Yeah, only Gulf of Oman. It's a really good map though. I can't wait to see what the others are like.

I'm not sure if you can get on them with the full game, but i dont see why not.

Now I,m looking to move away from like 20 more kills then deaths in my stats mates.

My bad I was tired Still if were talking about machine guns all of the handheld ones are crap in my opinion. I quite like the MEC AK reload just because he tosses the clip to the other side and slaps it back in

I did get my 8000+ points, just the server took longer to update that normal.

I've got more kills then deaths but not as many as I'd like considering I'm often within in the top 4 in my team. My stats are HERE if your interested. Although they are not quite uptodate at the mo.

69 TKs 👍 I found a group of stat padders on a map. They were sitting in a corner about 4 of them, 2 from each team doing the usual kill/revive thing. I drove up to them in a tank, they all ran away and hid, so i got out of the tank and walked up to them. They all stood there looking at me with their knives drawn as i typed "Ah the joys of stat padding" at which they all ran at me trying to stab me. I backed away and blasted both of the opposing guys with my DAO (great gun) and hoped my team mates would leave, but alas they wanted blood so i gave them theirs curtesy of Mr. Tank. After a "Stat padding is gh3y" comment they all left the server. Homos.

I think my stats aren't too bad, not great, but i've been fulfilling my duty as MEDIC!.
