So this only leaves Audi, Zagato, Lamborghini, Hyundai, Honda, Italdesign, Daihatsu, Jordan, Nike, GM, Tesla and Ford.

Curious to see what Daihatsu , Honda and Lamborghini brings , was curious about Bertone too but oh well.

RIP Bertone.

Don't understand why they have to update the game to remove a manufacture title from a menu.
Well then, how do you expect them to remove the title from the game, if not through an update? They can't just leave it there. They have to remove it, since they already know it's not coming.

Going back, damn. So sad to see Bertone leave. They were one of the most renowned design houses in the car industry, and to see them going bust and leaving the VGT project is just too painful. Wish they could have held on a little bit longer just so that us gamers can see their project come to fruition. Was looking forward to what Daihatsu and Hyundai have to offer, but it was really Italy's design houses (Bertone, Zagato and Italdesign) that I was looking forward to the most.

Not crying here because I did saw this coming since Bertone went bankrupt a long time ago. Although we can all admit that this was by far, the most interesting VGT car we've ever seen. Now it's nothing but a memory.

I'm almost about ready to get killed by the Tomahawk X at Nurburgring tomorrow.

Sucks to lose Bertone, as others have said 'one of the greatest design houses in history'. Loved the Fiat/Bertone X-19 since I was a kid, told my parents that was what I wanted when I saw one in Wellington at 5. Shame I'm a smidgen too tall @ 6ft and felt cramped. Hoping an MR2 might have more room, as I love small mid-engined sportscars.

I'm holding hope for Alfa, as the Guilia should get them back on track. Snapping at the heels if not pissing on the M3 and RS Audis. 500+ hp of snarling V6, yee ha.

The writing is on the wall for some time now, but there's always some glimmer of hope that they can push out a final hurrah with PD. So sad that we will never see their last creation :(

If the company ever gets resurrected I hope PD remembers and does their best to revisit the car 👍

Also @kilesa4568 Vision Gran Turismo cars are ment to break the norm when it comes to car designs. Manufacturers imaginations can run wild since they are not limited in the virtual world like the real world.

To be honest I'm glad that this car has been Removed, it was horrible looking and now I can remember Bertone for every good looking cars they did not for this .... thing. To bad that they went bankrupt thought :(

I totally agree. That's why I like (for their looks) every other VGT car released so far. The Bertone couldn't even be described as a car though. There's pushing the envelope, and there's "oh, let's forget all about the envelope. Let's go mad. We're bankrupt anyway."

@legacyMACHINE

Care to show me anything similar styled by Bertone? If you can show me just one car styled by them that's comparable to this, I'll admit I don't know anything about them. If you can't, maybe you're not as clued up on them as you thought you were.

I'm not saying they've done anything similar, I'm saying they have done things just as radical and out there as this before so, why wouldn't you expect this to be daft too?

I have a theory about the Nike VGT. Judging by the pictures we've seen in the VGT dealership I'm getting a very damn good feeling that their project is going to be an upgraded Nike One. Maybe in this case the Nike Two and maybe end up being faster than the Redbull X2010s. Yeah we've seen the Tomahawk X assassinate the X2010 with an actual Tomahawk *Joke* but what if we get another car that can be another Redbull killer? Anyone who've played Gran Turismo 4 before would remember the Nike One. And since that Nike is back to the virtual world of Gran Turismo and are giving us a VGT car / project, I think to celebrate the occasion PD needs to bring back the Nike One from GT4 and add it to GT6 along with Nike's VGT project which will definitely IMO end up being an upgraded Nike One.

Also If I remember correctly, Michael Jordan *Air Jordan* is interested in the VGT project. Since Nike and Air Jordan are both shoe brands, I'm expecting both of their projects to be added together in a future update. I'm getting very curious on what Air Jordan's project might look like. I know this is a little off topic so I apologize.

Yawn. You all mean a fake car is cancelled? Cool. Maybe they could spend their time and effort doing something better then, like maybe converting some standard car to premium.

Which in my option they should have been doing from day one instead of these VGT's. Your milage may, of course, differ.

Simply google? I don't believe you.

Speaking of Air Jordan VGT, in a old article back in 2013, I think we may got a glimpse on what their project might look like and oh my... I have no clue if this is fan art but keep this in mind, there isn't a picture of Air Jordan's project on the VGT dealer.

I can already tell that this thing looks almost as good as the Bertone VGT in my opinion.

The nearest Bertone have got to a radical design was the Stratos Zero Concept. Again, a subjective opinion but it still looks like a car. It's even got a windscreen.

The Bertone VGT looks more like an autonomous vacuum cleaner/lawn mower that's been over designed to try fit the VGT marque. I honestly don't think they put that much effort into it. A quick afternoon's sketching and "that'll do. Tell them it's done."

Bertone, to me, gets me thinking of cars like the Miura, Urraco, Countach, Stratos, Alfa Giulietta Sprint and the 308GT4 being among the most memorable examples. (The 3 Lambo's I had posters on my wall as a kid)

I'm (or was) a huge fan of theirs but seeing this monstrosity saddened me. I'd rather they went out on a high with those gorgeous designs rather than this ugly virtual one. They could have revitalised the classic Miura for the modern age and had all the car aficionados saying "now that's the way to go out with a bang." Nope. We got this.

Between you and me though, I've been reading about and drooling over cars for the last 40 years. I really know what I like and don't like.
