Also @kilesa4568 Vision Gran Turismo cars are ment to break the norm when it comes to car designs. Manufacturers imaginations can run wild since they are not limited in the virtual world like the real world.

It was a creative vision of the future from a company whose creative vision peaked 40 years ago. It is a shame that such a storied design house went out with such a whimper, but Bertone's imaginations stopped being relevant to automotive design when the person who had his name on the building died in 1997.

Simply google? I don't believe you.
And again I have to question if you're actually old enough to use this site.

The original comment was a joke, not a claim that a plastic Camaro with laces is the Jordan Vision GT car. The image was found on Google, by Googling "air jordan car".

Google "air jordan car" and you can see for yourself.

So for something I don't even know about, I'm considered not old enough to use this site? Now I feel like I'm being trolled. :irked:

And for the joke part, what if we don't realize it was a joke? Is it illegal here to not realize that something is a joke when it's sometimes hard to figure out for some people like me? That's a little unfair.

No, for a slew of utterly juvenile comments for several months and the inability to read pretty plain context.

Or to open a window, type "google" and then type "air jordan car", but instead quote someone and tell them they're lying...

I mean, it's a picture of a plastic toy car with laces on it.

Odd, because that's the impression I've been getting from your posts since you joined the site.

It's a little unfair to expect you to think, if only for a moment, before hit Post Reply?
FAQ
Why does GTPlanet have unusual rules?
GTPlanet’s Acceptable Use Policy applies across all areas of the website and is somewhat unusual on the Internet due to its request for “decent grammar” and the prohibition of “txtspk”.

Such rules are often met with confusion and contempt by some new users. However, GTPlanet is not just another disposable “video game forum” – it is a community and a home for thousands of like-minded people which has thrived for more than a decade. These rules have always been in place, and remind everyone to put a little more thought into what they’re contributing to the community. In turn, this creates a more pleasant and attractive place for everyone.
Had you spent a moment's effort thinking before you posted, you wouldn't have posted.

I will going to put this, the Bertone Car List:

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gruppo_Bertone

The last Bertone car was a Bertone Nuccio, named after the founder who died at 1998. I wonder if this VGT is called Bertone Lillie, his daughter.

Kudos to a man who brings 60-90s Lambo, Alfa BAT, Cizeta, Stratos, and Alfa GT. We will miss your works.

Also, i wanted this in GT6 from Bertone.

Well, I did use google but I googled Air Jordan VGT rather than Air Jordan car since I never actually thought Air Jordan has made cars before rather than them designing a car for a video game. Up until now, I googled Air Jordan car. Yeah... The picture pretty much answers your question.

Lying? Well honestly I thought this was something else. I've seen a few people lying about something on here rather than confirming it was a joke. I can't believe I still have @nfsoverdrive on my head.

The Bertone looked even more unrealistic than the Tomahawk and the Red Bull X cars put together. It didn't even look anything close to a car and more a vehicle that wouldn't look out of place in Battlefield 2143.

I believe. Shiny Salamence forever!

The company went bankrupt last year. The new company that has come out of that mess isn't doing cars as far as I have heard.

People keep saying the Bertone is unrealistic, keep in mind that those are not the official sketches. These are the official pictures from the GT website and pre-launch trailer. IMO it looks much more like a car than the Chaparral 2X

Nice! That looks like a futuristic tank! Which reminds me we don't have tanks in GT6 and that that should be something remedied.

I loved the Bertone VGT's look, personally. I was glad not all manufacturers stuck to making a serious, sober race car. There's nothing wrong with a fun design. It's only one car among many in this game.

Now that you mention it, it does look a bit like Batman's Tumbler with that back to front axle thing. Just paint it black and it will look better than the upcoming Batman v Superman batmobile :D

Really such a shame it's gone. I don't know how licensing works, but if the company is bankrupt can't the designers still team up with PD independently and release it under the "Polyphony Digital" manufacturer? (like the Red Bull, Formula GT, etc)

I'm kind of sad that the Bertone Vision GT didn't make it, but I'm not mad. It's just one of many cars. We've got plenty of other Vision GT cars to look forward to.

I'm only disappointed I dont get to see how ridiculous the car actually is.

I kind of roll my eyes when I see people like Ralph Gilles and that guy who did the new Corvette try to justify why they are a part of the ridiculous cars that have come out of VGT.

I'm expecting a nuclear powered unicycle driven by dilithium crystals soon.

No-one has driven it, and yet plenty are willing to condemn it.

Judging a book by it's cover much?
Dude, LOOK it. It must've been as wide as a track itself. If you thought a whole grid of Chaparral VGTs were bad...
