Just want to see who watched both and where the general consensus is in the world (mainly the United States though).

U.S. GP to me was better, last years Homestead was more exciting than this years. I felt Brad has a much easier task to lock it up, than the close tooth and nail battle of last year.

Also good job RBR at a third consecutive WCC.

Unfortunately, I only watched a bit of the US GP even though I said on here I would watch it. I regret it since the NASCAR race barely started. :(

The Ford 400 was enjoyable. Not as close as many other NASCAR finales, but definitely fun to watch.

I won't vote since I didn't watch a lot of the US GP, though I assume it was better.

The GP was better as a race, but not in the overall picture, where the Cup race was opposite.

I was surprised a the amount of passing and competitive racing in the USGP

The NASCAR race was turning into a real close showdown until Jimmie Johnson brokedown. So the USGP wins

I really liked the drivers that won each of them, so I can't really pick one. Probably going to have to go with the GP in this case.

The Grand Prix. I liked the NASCAR race too even though ESPN did a 🤬 covering the actual race.
"And if the race ended now, with 200 to go, Brad would beat Jimmie by 20 points :yuck: "
I don't think they even mentioned Kurt Busch, Greg Biffle, or Aric Almorola once dispite all 3 finishing in the top 3.

I think the USGP was far better, because firstly the racing was truly epic between the top two, and secondly because it really did something for F1 in the USA. And while the NASCAR race was the championship race, it was still just a race in the end. Nothing groundbreaking like having an F1 race in the USA for the first time in years. But then again, I live in Texas, so it might've been just a tad bigger for me because of that too..

AMEN!!!

Of couse not (Top 5 BTW, Jeff Gordon won). As with most series, the final race is more about the championship than the race result. Last year they were one in the same due to the situation, but it's rare anymore.

That said, both were entertaining, but the USGP was the better of the two. Am I the only one who felt like the GP was, I don't know, fresh? I didn't feel like the standard affair for F1, something aside from the venue felt new. I can't place it though.

Ahh, sorry. Small typo there. I ment top 10 :grumpy:
I can understand that, but ESPN spent literatly the entire race talking about Brad vs Jimmie. I'm fine with it dominating coverage, but with 200 to go in a 267 lap race, can't you make even a small mention about somebody else? Ironically, this is the very first race I've watched where I didn't hear Jr. be mentioned once. And Jr. was having a pretty good run to boot!
