NOTE: After the Car of the Month reviews, I have been updating this tune, faster than Version 1 but still can be a handful if over pushed. I did do another version which is more stable although it has more understeer, but it's about .400 slower at Ascari. It will be listed below.

Wow! Someone has been a busy beaver... :D 👍 Nice job with the BMW tunes. I have so many "extra" BMW's from @shaunm80's FITT challenge - I need to start labeling and filling Tune slots, so these will come in handy. I only "trust" a couple different tuners. I've found a few who's tunes seem to work well with my driving style, and I tend to stick with them. I don't mean to imply any one tuner is better than the next.

I look forward to trying out your 2004 Corvette Z06. Ya know, that car is probably in my Top 20 for favorite GT6 cars. There's just something about the way it drives. It's not the fastest car in the world or anything, but it's very easy to drive at the limit (with a good setup, of course). Driving the car hard is almost effortless, compared to many cars in GT6. Plus it's a friggin' Z06! 'Nuff said... :sly:

How did I know I'd find @Pete05 creeping around this Garage? The second I saw the posting for the Holden Monaro, I just knew Pete05 wouldn't be far behind. I'll tell ya, Pete05 opened my eyes to that Monaro. I knew nothing of the car, but I've really come to respect the car. It's a shame that the Monaro isn't a Premium car. Even the Commodore is a nice ride...that would be much nicer with the Premium treatment.

Who wouldn't want to operate from this position :D

I swear I do more driving from the right hand side in GT6 than I do from the left. Thank god PD gave us left hand drive Lamborghini's and Ferrari's.
I think that's probably a byproduct of the Japanese origin of the game. Have you noticed most of the World circuits are clockwise? That makes it ever so slightly easier to place a RHD car. Having said that, I don't have any issues driving anything with the wheel on the left. When I started using the in-car view in GT5 though...:scared: That took some getting used to :banghead:

I enjoyed the Holdens, fun at My Panorama.
If you try the Z06, try the 525pp first. On SS tires at Willow, I thought it was pretty good and expected it to be mid pack on my leader board. When I went to enter the time, was stunned to find it was second fastest :dopey:

NOTE:
This is a very good tune for the MidField seasonal. Even with sport hard tires it sticks like glue. I quite enjoyed giving the rabbits a run for their money. Top dogs were SRT-8 '11, ZR-1 '90 (C4), and a hot pink (lol) Superbird. I ran the race twice. Once with tc1, and once with it off. Both races were winners with best times at lap 3. TC1 was 1:22.xx, TC off was 1:19.9x. I don't normally post my times because well, I'll be honest, I'm not very fast but this one is only a few seconds off from my Shelby SOSH tune, so I thought it might be a decent time. Much fun to ne had with this rubber burner, thanks.

Glad you enjoyed, thanks for the feedback:D

I am following your lead on the BMW tunes. I still have 5 or 6 unfinished FITT BMWs in my garage so I have decided to mothball those and turn them into 500PP SH monsters. I must say, the CSL is a great 500PP car and the GTR should be slightly better when I have finished that that.

Is that your stock of tunes all published now or have you got some more hidden away up your sleeve?

Still have more, need time to post but that's all the BMWs. The rest are a variety of 550pp tunes to coincide with my latest time trial test just recently finished. Some very interesting results and some really surprising tunes.

NOTE: I went lower on the downforce than most, might not be able to go flat out through turn 5, but a quick lift and jumping right back on the throttle should do you fine. Most corners require very little braking or just a really quick lift of the throttle. I can run low 1:25s and still think there is 2 tenths to be had if every corner is right. Good luck.

Best Lap Time – 1.27.041
DC – 10.0

Impression of the tune; This is an amazing tune which I felt confident driving from lap 1 through to lap 10. It went where I pointed it, it felt fast and it produced a very good lap time. I really enjoyed driving this tune and was consistently setting low 1.27s from the very beginning. Great job, you should be proud of this one :).

A decent enough tune. Very easy to drive. It just feels a bit vanilla to drive, would need some adjustment to become wicked fast.

First tested tune, first laps I tried to find that pink elephant dorm sitting on my front axle.
Front was slightly too heavy, springs or wings, or fixing weight more to rear for balancing car
Understeering happens during coasting, and some oversteer during trail braking and soon after lifting throttle, both are just results of slightly too heavy front(or light rear).
Driving line changes are hard to comply due above, you just have to stay throttle on floor thru whole turn and be sure at your entry was hitting on right line.
TT-setup on current condition, after balancing car it would be great on races.

Handling is spot on. No comments on improvements. You left a little on the table with the gearbox.

Impression of the tune:
This is a tune with a trustworthy front end & crazy good turn-in but if you stray onto an outside kerb, you're going for a wild ride. It's got very good power down out of turn 2 and is solid everywhere else. As I've mentioned previously, the final two ratios in the gearbox are too long & that has cost it time in a field as closely stacked as this.
Split times over the timed lap were
17.1, 11.7, 13.4, 19.8 & 21.6. The best sector times I managed were 16.9, 11.6, 13.3, 19.6 & 21.6.

Will provide consistently fast lap times if you can be consistent yourself. Had issue with the gearbox using auto trans with change down not being quick enough, which was the only thing stopping it being a 10.

Impression of the tune; This car was phenomenal, I knew I could hang it out to dry and it would stick. Turn in was spot on, acceleration was great. braking was perfect. The ONLY thing that could have been better was the transmission and this is just being nit picky. The individual gears were too long causing a loss of power on each shift other than into 5th gear. If I spun it was entirely my fault for pushing the car past its limits like say trying to take Turn 1 at 190 km/h  almost made that just needed another 11 1/2 inches of curb -_- Excellent job sir.

Impression of the tune;
Pretty good overall, ticks all the boxes, good traction throughout , carries good speed through the corners, reasonably safe when a wheel goes off the track

NOTE: This one will totally surprise you at how fast it is. A 550pp sleeper, it may be slow mid-corner, but can launch out on exit and make up for it.

NOTE: Not as good as expected, now I know why it took me so long to tune one. Not bad, but there are better choices. Does well at Tour of Japan R246.
