GT Sport Class System Update:

With the inclusions of cars from different eras added to GT Sport, it is time for the class system to be expanded. This is to better accommodate each car present in GT Sport along with giving certain cars more use. In addition, multi-class racing has been added to Arcade, Sport, and Online modes to bring new life to GTS. This would be for people missing certain cars racing against each other due to the class changes.

Here is the new class list, it now consists of different eras of racing.

1. GTV1
Vintage race cars no longer sit in Gr.X and are now placed in this class and GTV2. They can be raced against other classes in GT Sport now. GTV1 accounts for racing machines from the 1950s and early 1960s.
Examples:
- 1959 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Racer Concept
- 1953 Aston Martin DB3S CN.1
- 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO

2. GTV2
Vintage race cars from the late 1960s to the early 1970s.
Examples include:
- 1967 Ford Mk.IV Race Car
- 1967 Ferrari 330 P4
- 1966 Jaguar XJ13

3. Gr.3 (1990s) - Consists of GT2, IMSA, and JGTC GT500 Race Cars Primarily from the 1990s. (Ex: Mclaren F1 GTR 1995 & Nissan Skyline R33 GT500) 1997
4. Gr.3 (2006-13) - GT2 Race Cars will take the helm in this class (Ex. Ford GT LM Spec II Test Car)
5. Gr.3 Modern
6. Gr.4 (90s)
7. Gr.4 (2000s)
8. Gr.4 (Modern)
9. Gr.2 (1990s) - This will be for GT1 Race Cars from this period.
