One thing though the whistling, in all of matches we did, was eerire! Made me jump round randomly and shoot stuff when you weren't there....:scared:

Yeah that little gun is pretty impressive, obviously just like all the other's in the game it would never get programmed in without some significant tweaking for balance.

Glutton for punishment eh?

That is odd, thats what i found out myself trying to do the G-shot. It is way easier to do that the movement one but you need quick fingers, which i do not have. :grumpy:
 
I had the most bizarre glitch on Backlot. My dead body was stretched over about 30 feet around a building. I was playing FFA, and a guy was talking about a very weird glitch:

He said you have to be on Old School. Basically, throw a grenade at the ground, pick it up and jump just before it explodes. If you do it right your body will stick to walls, ceilings etc. sometimes a body part gets stuck in a surface and the rest of it stretches out. Very weird. :lol:
 
Me and Rabia had the same thing happen in Old-School @ Shipment, I was laughing at the stretched out bodies and Rabia would shoot me :p

EDIT: All it took for us was to shoot eachother.

Speaking of shipment, has anyone else gone into spectator mode there and just looked around outside of the map?

Things I saw:
That Water Tower you may see if you look off in the distance? It's sitting on top of a 18-Wheeler :p
There is a whole Dock area, and areas that looked like they built them for combat but they were never included.
2 Buildings with a courtyard, like a smaller Non-post-nuclear-meltdown-Bloc.

Now that is wierd (makes mental note to give it a go).

On a more general note, CF I have accepted every invite you have sent to me over the last week and every single one of them has failed to connect. Which being honest is starting to bug the hell out of me.

Yup Ive done that so I could see what was in the distance, most of it is just a flat wall with pictures on but you find some interesting stuff out there...👍
 
If anybody wants to try the grenade glitch we can set up a private match.


@Scaff: IW should be thankful the multiplayer is so addicting. If it wasn't I would've given it up long ago. These network problems are ridiculous, they should be fixed by now, they've sold 9 million copies!
 
Hows it been going guys? I got an email about the DLC from Charlie Oscar Delta but I don't think I am getting it since GTAIV is coming out. I have been pretty busy with everything going on at home, and all of a sudden all of my brothers are home so thats less time on the PS3. Plus I have been getting more into NHL08 because of the playoffs right now. If you guys see me online it may be one of my brothers so I will start sending friend invites from my other account CHAR0N_.
 
I havent really seen any differences on it yet and have been playing it for the last 2 hours. I guess it could be something online but i am not a big online player on this sort of game as i am crap at them but do like this one. I have only just picked it up again in about 5 months.

It is most likely to be on-line related (the other updates all have been), fingers crossed (as I play it on-line a lot) its the host migration fix. At present it a bit like GT5:P if the host quits then its game over for everybody, rather annoying if the match has only been going on for 10 seconds.

Still have to wait and see, new maps later today as well.

cool, will they be doing this for gt5p i wonder. I raced the most sporting guy yet a couple of days ago. even sent each other messages about how well the both of us raced and how fair we were.
 
£6.99 for the map pack in the UK!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations IW and Sony you just lost one sale on this, no way am I paying that much for 4 maps. Considering the US price was announced as $9.99 I would have been happy with a £5 price point, but this works out closer to $14, which is just too much.

Guess its a good job that GTA4 and Grid are both out soon, as this just put me off COD4.

Not impressed at all.

I hate it when the host quits and you are only like 10 seconds in a game, its always on a good map too! I have a question. My friend and i always play COD4 together but it takes forever for us to get into the same game. We usually play free for all. I will have to keep searching for a game and then finally get into a room that isn't full then invite him really quick and hope he makes it in before someone else joins, which usually someone else joins first. Is there anyway for us to get into the same room thats easier than this? Its just ridiculous having to do all this just to play with a friend, has to be another way that im not seeing. Its always more fun when you are killing your friends. He recorded one match we were in and i got to watch the replay of me jumping out a 2nd story window while pumping him full of rounds from my M249 (with double tap) on the way down, he was dead before i hit the ground....lol.

AFAIK, the only way to play a FFA with a friend is just pure luck, since it isn't a team game. If you have friends in your party you can join a Team Deathmatch (or any other team game) without much of a problem usually. If you invite a friend while in the lobby, there's a chance that your friend will be on the other team too.

Yeah that makes since. We usually start a private chat, then i will go into rooms and eventually find one with another empty spot and invite him and half of the time he can make it into the room with me. If not, we just start the search all over again until we get in the same room.Its just much more fun killing people you actually know, cause then if you dominate them you can give them crap....LOL.

My feelings exactly. If they would have released them in late March I would have considered buying them, but now I have GT5P, and in less than a week I'll have GTA IV.
 
Yep, I may have to miss out on buying the maps for the PS3 since I'll hardly use them. If they were cheap enough then I'd buy them anyway, but they're not.

They were around the same price on the X360, but you had to buy 1000 points for £8.50 since you can only buy in 500 segments (maps were 800).
 
WTF?! F1D's online right now but for some reason I can't see him, either in party invite or the barracks?

Well in the US/NA it is only supposed to be $9.99. For that you get 4 new online maps; Chinatown, Kill House, Creek and Broadcast.

You get 4 new maps. I bought a 1600 card and used half for the maps and im saving the rest of the points for when GTA has some content for download. It was worth it to me cause i just get so tired of playing the same maps over and over.
 
FYI doesn't look like it's available on the NA PSN yet, but it is available on the European site.
