Can you sell gifted cars?

So I want to sell a car I was gifted. The '67 Lambo, but it won't let me. Is it this way with all gifted cars or just the classic ones?

What does it say when you try to sell it?

Does it say "You cannot sell this car, do you want to remove it from your garage"?

Or "You cannot sell a gifted car"?

I've never tried it myself.

Don't seem to be able to sell half the cars in GT5. Pretty much any of the expensive race cars. Why would we want to just remove it from the garage without getting cr for it anyway? Makes no sense!

yeah that's some BS! Selling cars for tons of credits use to be one of the best ways to make credits! It seems the only the PD wants us to do is the same boring race over and over and over again for hours on end just to buy a race car for one event. And then not be able to sell it for credits! Damn!

Generally it's only the cars you have personally bought that you can sell, most of the prize cars you can't sell.

There may be some exceptions, but generally this is what I've found.

I haven't tried selling a gifted car though, I'm presuming it's something similiar, but not sure, that's just a guess.

You can sell gifted cars, but most valuable cars cannot be sold. I understand that the most valuable car that can be sold is the Ferrari F40 for 135 000 Cr.

Is a little annoying that you can't sell a lot of cars, I mean just because they're expensive doesn't mean I want them, I have 2 Countach's which I can't sell either of, the Veyron which I don't really like so much, and so on.

This irritated me most when I bought the Citroen WRC for the 3rd set of bonus races. It was 850,000 credits, and I was hoping I could get SOME of it back... but Oh Well.

I think that's round-about the same as what you get for the Lexus LFA.

Anyone else have any idea what vehicle in the game gives you the most credits when sold?
