A "close enough" version of this car is in GT6 as the Acura NSX Touring Car. Just paint it in Formula Red with black wheels, put the #84 on it and job done!

I want that back. Every time I played GT2, I had to have that. Just a fast-as-hell car, and it actually sounded cool, despite it being GT2.

@Sparkz_360 The S2000, Impreza, and Altezza are in GT6, carry-overs from GT5, which were carry-overs from GT4.

They were neutered them in GT4, cutting from around 600 to well under 400. You could add parts to make them faster though.

The RX-7 and FTO from GT3 were done away with and replaced with slower, less awesome versions in GT4. I actually would love to have them back.

@Azure Flare
I kno there in gt6 but there not fun to drive anymore like in gt3, they made the ftp ugly in gt4, they gave the rx7 a wide body kit, the s2000 and altezza are slower the impreza is pretty much the same except it's called a touring car now personally I think it sounds better when the car is called "lm race car" not "touring car"

Jensen Interceptor Mk III
Ford GT90
Renault Espace F1
*all the FPV cars from GT4
Venturi Atlantique 400GT (and its Gran Turismo racing version
Vector M12 (and its Gran Turismo racing version)
Mazdaspeed RX-7 GT-C
Mazdaspeed RX-7 A-Spec
Toyota Esso Ultraflo Supra JGTC (Arguably the best looking JGTC Supra in a GT game)

just to name a few... ;)

I don't mean to be rude, but i really don't want any cars to return to GT6. Its not that i dislike the old cars, but i do feel as if the old "standard" car concept is what is dragging this GT6 down. I would much rather see a smaller number of carefully chosen cars in GT6 (and GT7 for that matter) as apposed to a random bunch of old and new mix match of cars.

If only they would just get rid of the old cars to increase the head count, and for the nostalgic people who insist on playing the old cars, they should go and play GT1/2/3/4/5 or what ever version that car was on. GT6 should be the "real racing simulator" and have a collective of cars from certain racing series and the same applies to tracks, so if you wanted to, you could host your own FIA World Endurance Championship (or what ever floats your boat).

Instead we are stuck with Nissans back catalog of skylines in both standard and premium, and chase the rabbit races were the player is in an MX-5 and the rabbit is a Ferrari 458.

Mercedes C43 AMG. . .
I remember doing an endurance in GT2 with it on Apricot Hill and falling in love with it . . . . only for Kaz to keep us apart since. :(

Standard cars? Um, that's not what this thread is about at all. We're sharing cars that we simply want to see come back to the series, but as new models. We're not asking for direct ports of older car models, that would be silly.
