OK HERE'S TO YOUR COMMENTS A LITTLE TABLE THAT WILL PROVE YOU WRONG ABOUT HONDA'S IF THEY ARE SO BAD, IT MAY ONLY BE ONE OF HONDA'S CARS IN COMPARISON BUT IM PRETTY SURE IT WILL STOP YOU WHINING LIKE A BABY

spec5wi.png

Im not sure about this table.. where did it come from. it says that a intregra type r can out perform a bmw z3. that just seems silly to me! 👎

wrong again - that is your opinion not 'Fact' so why 'TELL' people?

Civic Ek 1.6 V-Tec 158bhp @ 7600rpm (stock)
wrong again?
so its your opinion hondas are quick... ahah quick is relative, im pretty sure a honda is quicker than me on foot.
civic 1.6 ek?
meet
'93 Toyota Corolla Fx GT VVT 160hp @7400 (stock)

svtsnake
1.6 4age, will beat the crap out of any 1.6 from honda.
specially toyota atlantic's 1.6.
next

oh yeah, and im suppose to believe it beats the EK civic type-r 1.6 185bhp??? remember you said any Honda 1.6!!

do i have to quote you again?
and what are we comparing? engine sizes alone?

you made the rules and now you're back pedaling. too bad its 2:15am here.

1.6-liter, four-cylinder, non-turbocharged, 16-valve, fuel-injected, dual-overhead cam, Toyota 4A-GE engines, capable of producing 240 horsepower at 9,500 rpm and speeds in excess of 165 mph.
toyota atlantic
hondas 1.6 isnt even race proven compared to the 4age.
so once again NEXT

no i just wanted to compare cars of the same class that you thought were better, anyway im not saying there isnt cars that are or aren't better because i know there is, i was just trying to prove that they arent bad or slow cars at all, fair enough they didnt build the economy models for speed, which is true but the CAN be transformed into really quick cars - you have to admit!

Did that engine come from toyota like that? or was it a tuning company of toyota's?

c'mon man i know im wrong when i said hondas.
i was specifically talking about the non type R's.
that said yes there are plenty of good ones, so to save myself from looking like a goof again, there are some respectable hondas.

i wouldnt mind doing a b18c5 swap to the old mini

the only place it would fit would be the back seat! ha ha that would be freakin rapid and hilarious! :)

4age has been around for over 15 years.

a perfect setup for autoX is 4age motor into a kp61 starlet (rwd, small, light).
going to bed

i checked out that 1.6 @240bhp - sweet!!! in an old mr2 i believe!

drifting and hondas? 👎
HAHAAHAAHAHAHHAH

the s2000 drifts if im not mistakin.. and in the latter you reffered to hondas and auto x?.. the NSX has one many auto x races mainly due to its great speed being able to be held throughout each corner, mind you most of the NSX's competing are stock....

EDIT: another thing guys, if your going to add something to what youve already said please use the edit button on the bottem right of your post instead of double (or triple) posting. 👍 otherwise things get flooded and messy, thanks.

haha., i dont see the point in including diesel cars in a computer game. Especially when their petrol counterparts are better

If anything, they should've switched that crappy Del Sol (I hate it) with your Civic Sedan.

LOL! Be nice to the hairdressers, the del Sol should stay. But four doors better than two, I always say... because it means a nice backseat for making babies in... :dopey:

Actually, there are some diesels I would've liked to see instead of the 120d... like the awesome BMW 3 liter diesels, or maybe one or two compact diesels, like the Focus or a Peugot... then we could have a diesel sports series... no... come on...think about it... it would be neat, really....

so is the reason that only the sedan is in the game because pd new there was a better toyota?

toyota pretty much takes the cake, but out of all the tureno models how come there is no actual 85 tureno. i thought that was the important year with 16 valve ...?

Hondas CAN drift. Just look at Alex Pfeifer's (I'm sure I misspelled it, so correct at will) RS*R Honda S2000 in Formula D. As far as Civics go, my deal is that... okay. Honda Civics aren't sports cars. The more common term is "econo-box." But even then, it's a car in which I can never really understand what has made the Civic such a well-loved car. But for all I know, the Civic is well-loved.

Don't be disappointed with the Civic selection in GT4. The Civic isn't a sports car. It doesn't mean that the Civic isn't a slouch, however. It can be a good touring car or a not-bad choice for FWD Drag Racing. I can remember a Civic sedan drag race car from 2000 that ran in the eights. Either the eights or the nines. The reason why I'm showing support and respect for the Civic and its fans is because I try to be as admirable of a car fan as I can be. Just because a dull car is crap in performance doesn't mean there's not a person looking to modify a car to be a contender. While Civics aren't muscle cars, sports cars, or pure performers. Then too, I don't think Civic fans really care if they are supposed to love sports cars than "econo-boxes." One thing you have to realize is that not every car fan is into muscle cars and such, especially here in America. Every car fan has their unique favorites no matter what they may be. Then too, Gran Turismo's always been about having fun in any kind of vehicle you want no matter what anyone daresay.

i know you were not bad mouthing civics in any way but i dont see how people can say civics arent sports cars, im talking about the type-r's and type-s's by the way - considering the type-S the 's' means sport!

what is the definition of a sports car? someone explain, because most people on here really dont know - and i dont know! i only have my own opinion on 'what is a sports car'
