I'm waiting for the moment when PD releases "Gran Turismo 6: GT-R SpecV Edition".

Or Forza 4, complete with Windows 8 Operating System and a Ferrari 458 GTE racecar crashed by Le Mans driver.

I tried Grid for a few minutes but did not really care for it.
If another version comes out I would try a demo and give it a shot but it would have to be quite a lot different than the last one for me to be interested.

Um, because a demo is a way to try the game for free?

I know that much. I'm just saying usually a demo comes out a week or two before the game is released.

There have been the rare occasions that a demo have released after the full game, but I don't see that happening.

Why worry about a demo now? It comes out Tuesday for the US and Friday for EU..

So your saying it makes sense to pay £40 for a game when I don't even know how it handles? Sure we have videos but on most videos we don't know who is driving or if they are using a pad or wheel.

Also I only put that as HBR-Roadhog said he would like to try a demo of it.

Honestly, I wouldn't trust the demo. From what I've seen, the actual demos for most game contain some of the best parts of the game, and left the demo-players dissapointed. I do see why a demo is wanted, but I would be wary of one reguardless.

Of couse, I'm still waiting for companies to start charging for demos.

A demo would be nice, but..

There is only a small handful of games that have a demo released for them.

Basically says it. Go to the PSN Store, you're not gonna see a demo for every game. All because you guys want one, doesn't mean there will be one.

To answer your question though, I'd only do that if I knew I was gonna like the game.

I'm guessing because Codemasters is usually good about putting demos out and have been for the past few games (Dirt Showdown, F1 2012), there was somewhat of an expectation for them to do the same here.

As much as i loved Grid one im willing to support Grid 2 with its DLC. I want to see at least one console racing game with Mid-Ohio on its tracklist.
Hey Silver-Sylph!

RACE PRO ( Simbin ) for the XBOX360 has Mid-Ohio and its multiple ribbons for DLC. It's "Pack 3."

Awesome console sim-racer if you haven't played it! 👍

That's on the PSN. Back in the days I had XBL I couldn't even keep up with the flood of demos including the Arcade titles.

Or the very bright idea of Sony to charge for the Warhammer demo (only available to Plus users).

Sorry for being so grumpy, I seriously don't want to offend.

The only worry with Grid2 is that it's going to take 6 months its actually playable with major issues removed. Just for the protocol: I loved Grid and it still holds a very special place in my heart. But I would have felt otherwise if I bought the original game for the initial price and had to wait for ages until the game breaking issues were resolved.

Anyway, the track list is a huge disappointment for me )compared to the neat selection if Grid 1).

I hate to say it, but as much as I was looking forward to it, there's simply not enough European tracks in it for me.

I've simply grown too old to be part of their targeted audience it seems. I was hoping for a F1 style game with GT/road cars. Not going to happen it seems :(

I dont have an Xbox but I know that game is basically GTR2 which i have. Although every iteration of the Mid-Ohio tracks I've seen in rFactor and GTR2 aren't quite right.

The first video has some gameplay footage, I don't know what to say about the handling but it does look similar to the first Grid where you can drift in every corner :ouch:

Can't wait for this game to come out! I asked the GTP staff to create a sub section for the Grid series, so we can get some online racing going!

Got this preordered, I loved the first grid and the older race driver games. I do prefer games that edge towards realism but there's nothing wrong with some good old simple racing. Expect mine on Wednesday.

Glad to see an end to all the pre order drivel that plagued this thread a few pages back. If you want to preorder, Do. If You don't, don't. Its that simple.

Oh 🤬 it. I pre-ordered. I loved Grid 1, I saw this as pre-order for £31, thought I had to take up that offer.

Plus the Grid 2 pre-order stuff is way too expensive, doesn't see that worth it.

Seriously? If we want all of the content we'll either have to buy four versions of the game or spend a minimum of $17 extra? Ridiculous and nothing more than money grabbing.
