Cockpit view at 49sec?
GUYS, i finally got some news from IronStar staff
They interviewed GT5 staff at E3
and YES GT5 standard cars will have COCKPIT VIEW!!!![]()
No it not a joke, Those guys from IronStar are there at E3, i sent them an email
"Standard cars in GT5 have cockpit view!" and they said yes standard car will have Cockpit view
NO im not talking about that
here's my email
"Nice E3 coverage, PLEASE find GT5 staff and ask him will "Standard cars in GT5 have cockpit view!"
We are disparate to know this....
He replayed "yes they will have cockpit view"
Which muscle cars? If you mean these, they're all premium, NOT standard:If we don't get cockpit view on the 800 standard cars, it'll be a disappointment, but as long as there is a decent bonnet view, I'm not all to bothered.
The thing that confuses me the most is the modelling quality. The trailer for the standard cars is not very promising, especially not the R10, but the recent screenshots of the muscle cars (including the Stingray) looks amazing, and supposedly they are standard cars.
I think I'll just have to hibernate until GamesCom![]()
there you go

is the bottom a comparison to gt4? (if that's a standard car....)
TheManHimselfRegarding interior view…do you mean you would want a black frame interior view?
By blackframe, I meant same as in PSP (re: cockpit view)
In that case, it would be technically possible.
From the Kazunori Yamauchi live twitter interview:
If after that you still wish to fool yourself into believing standard cars will have cockpit view, I don't know what to say.
After seeing what has happened with the standard cars I am now pissed off about NASCAR. Why did he add NASCAR if he knew all the other cars would suffer from lower detailed models?
If he didn't add NASCAR he could've spent more time modelling all of the other 800 cars to premium models but he didn't.
Why Yamauchi why?
Im not fooling myself and that my friend, many people said that thats not a good source because it sounds like he is just lost in translation but still going with the flow. You seriously can tell me that in that interview it says no cockpit for standard?

GTHD, so better than GT4, maybe like GT4 photo mode. The wheels seem to have more depth than the GT4 ones.
The lighting and shading is different though, but I bet if you equalise those, the difference wouldn't be that noticable
So you really think creating the NASCAR cars took the equivalent amount of work of doing 800 cars in Premium mode?![]()
No But making those NASCAR cars could've taken up about 1 year or so and that's a lot of time gone.
They should have made the most of their time in recreating all of the 650 cars from GT4
And whoever was crying about NASCAR...uh...you realize that's just 1 car model with several different skins? And all they have to do for the different manufacturers is just change the front end a little.
I really don't understand the fuss regarding this. There will be 200 premium cars with detailed cockpits, so what is the problem? Sure there are 800 without, but come on, do you want the game now or in ten years time? I'm more than happy with the quantity of premium cars, my only concern being that that I hope the selection is varied, and not just 30 odd skylines, 23 evolutions and an equal number of Imprezas. 👍
Which muscle cars? If you mean these, they're all premium, NOT standard:
it's not just 800 cars without cockpit, it's 800 cars that looks like crap and are imported from gt4 after 5 years. Huge Huge fail. i would've never expected that from Pd and Kaz.

No, it's GTHD footage. No such thing as premium models back then in 2007 my friend.Yes, on a premium model Mitsubishi Evolution.
