I like to hop into a race before I start work if I am ready, and the race interested me. Admittedly only gives me about 20 mins of practice, but that is half the fun :) Also wanted to try the Audi VGT, but I struggled with the way it applies the battery power.

I think the fast guys will be low 1:25's by the end of the day, but don't think I could get much better than a high 1:26 judging by the mistakes I made in those laps.

Well folks I made it into A rank with Autopolis. Got my QT down to 1.37.6. Last race in the early hours, i started pole. Ran my fasted race of the week with a fastest lap of 1.39.6 on lap 6, last lap purpled first 2 sectors also. What a week.. Time to learn a new track for this weeks race C.

So I'm struggling with race C. Not with the fuel saving, but I can't seem to get the acceleration out of the corners like some people can in the exact same car. I know it's something to do with the ERS, but I just can't work out what I'm doing wrong.

Ran a couple of race Cs. Turn 1 lap 1 is the usual 🤬 show, but because these cars are on edge there is a chance for unwanted action on any of those 4 main corners. That and for some reason everyone forgot about slipstream. Got punted twice on lap 1my first race, but so many people were bearing and banging I made it back to p10 to finish lapping by myself.

Second race was a really good race. Started p6, 2 people tried fuel saving in the TS050, myself and pole sitter went for flat out with a a stop. P5 spun out and took out p4 on the first chicane lap 2 so there were 4 of us with a big lead. I got past p3 with a great exit on the final sharp left and flat out right bend down the straight. Pulled same move on p2 next lap as the polesitter pitted really early. Got a big lead. Pitted lap 10 for just enough fuel, came out 1.2 behind p3 who was pole sitter. We ran down the no stoppers in a lap and had way more speed to work by. But with the draft they can hang in there. Guy pulled a great move on me in the final corner to take p2. Good race.

Unfortunately Group C cars won't be competitive here. Not with all the low speed corners.

@Jamie9000000 what car are you driving? In the toyota I had to move the brake balance to the rear to get hybrid back up and also couldn't trail brake for any corners really. Have to have it lined up to simply launch it from the apex. I dropped 1 sec on qually when I realized I had been lining up the final sharp left all wrong and compromising my whole front straight.

Is it confirmed that it's a TS050 one make?
I was hearing that the 919 and R18 can go about 1 second per lap faster than the TS050, but need to refuel.
I have seen both in my first race, but the no1 qualifier in Asia was on pole in the 919 and was 3 sec behind at the finish from a TS050. Don't know if there was other factors at play. My second race was a 1 make, but stopping anyway seems to be faster for me at least so far.

Race C is undrivable with the current penalty system, SR downs all over. Good bye SR once again, think I may just have got reset again. The games not fun to play now its not raceable down in the lower ranks.
I got back to DR B after my reset last Monday, was SR S also. Just lost 52 SR in the last 3
races, the penalties are just total jokes. The 4 second penalties for side by side contact and a huge chunk of SR lost to boot, is this supposed to be enjoyable?!

I've just managed to get back up to Sr-S again.
Started at the back and moved up via others mistakes.
Racing in private lobbies more enjoyable than Dailies at the moment.
Don't think I'll get back up to DR-B at this rate as attempting to race means SR gets wiped out.

Any Peugeot 908?

Nah, not in my races. Take it for a spin for practice in qualifying and then try one of the hybrids. Their acceleration is key on this circuit since it has 3 pretty much 90 degree corners and there is really only 1 major long straight. Out of 36 cars in the 2 races I did there were 6 non Toyotas.

I give up, every race C I get rammed...
Had enough of this garbage after 678 days playing the penalty system is Never going to get fixed. Starting to hate the game.
Going to try race A no quali, starting at the back surely I can't lose SR like that?
Edit: Turns out race A is quite fun. Slowly recovering some SR.

No qualy ever. I just watch everyone take each other out. I'm not even rushing to overtake someone slower than me. Just let the planets align. M6 and AMG are good. I guess any car is good. Just keep it on the tarmac.

Race C was alright. That Hyuindai has an awesome HUD. Could have fuel saved, but didn't care. Have a good replay to watch
Could see some players trying uncouth moves trying to overtake in corners. Just wait, man...

Glad PD kept the 4-speed.

Race A is a very nice combo. I did a handfull of laps before leaving for work this morning, and it felt really good. I hope after the last two weeks of no racing essentially, for me, that i will get lots of rounds in at goodwood this week

Happy monday. I hope everyone is healthy, and safe in these crazy times.
