What tires are you using?
Are intermediates available?

I tried hards while practicing yesterday, they didn't seem bad..

Hards? you are kidding right? I want to drive on the track, not the grass! I tried intermediates, they kinda worked and kinda didn't. The only way i could complete any laps without spinning out of fishtailing was with full wets.

Decided to have a goof off around Brands and run some Qualifying. Managed to drop in a 30.2 after a little while remembering the track. Now if I can just figure out how to string some sectors together properly I can drop it to my optimum of 29.4. Would be fun to post a time like that and never race, but I will have to stick with what I got now. :cheers:Good luck out there racers, don't let the 🤬 get you down!:gtpflag:
This week I gonna do only B race, beacause since my wheel died I dont have a chance to be fast on wet Spa. DS4 x throttle only got 2 phases, little acceleration and full acceleration:D I send wheel back cause it was new, only a month.. TM t150, now I regret that I didnt spend some more money for g29.. If they give my money back, I will surely buy Logitech

Spa is at 6:30 am. So at least we have a pretty sunrise to look at as we aquaplane to Narnia.

That's the easiest conditions to drive in at least. I thought it was ment to be for inters but most people seem to be using the heavy wets. I'm curious to get home and see for myself what's better.

Sounds like you were practising in time trial where grip is not correct. Try using slicks in the event and you not last a corner!!

Race C practice/qualy, DS4, Jag: Tried all the tyres. Gave up on all the slicks before La Source. Did one lap on the inters, ran a 49.xxx, could probably drag it down to 46/47 but not worth it, can do 2:42.6 on the heavy wets after only two laps. I probably wont race it, I'd be a danger to other drivers, but I may try to knock another second off the time. I found that once the speed got high enough to generate significant downforce there was quite a bit of grip and I can probably pick up half a second just in Eau Rouge / Raidillon. There'll also be a touch more to gain in Blanchmont.

Ran a race B, need to work on defensive lines for L1. Had about four or five cars slide inside me in the first half lap, no real contact of any sort until half the field stalled in T7/8/9. I wasn't paying attention to places as I was only running to get a feel for driver quality, but I got a nudge in the back of the circuit that dropped me to P15, finished P10. It could do with another lap or two, it was over too quickly.

Looks like this week I'll be racing a lot of Gr. 4.
Race A looks interesting but with the penalty system I fear it'll be just a competition for who can be the dirtiest. :nervous:
Race C, I'll try but I don't think racing in rain will do good for my DR, might skip that one or just set qualy laps.

Edit: When can we see where our qualy time was on Kudosprime? (I mean my position)

3 times race C wrapped into one: my first, my last,my only one.
Back to Brands Hatch.

Erm, ok .. yeh, Spa won't be the horror show everyone is predicting.. with a 2:44.88 I won't be breaking any records! I think I can shave off a second if I can get the exit to the chicane better, but not much else . Yup, it's going to be a DR drop fest, but probably not many points 'cause the grid will be probably DR/Bs and As.
2:44:855. As usual we are rather close.
Too boring and too much walking on glass for me.

This cracked me up quite a bit :lol::lol:
My bad...
This was my mistake:

I'm also considering not racing... I've just caused a red flag worthy accident practicing with the AI... It wasn't even one the AI's shenanigans, it was genuinely my fault.. I lost control at Raidillon and took out a car that then caused a knock on effect taking out at least 10 more cars... Surethis iit's impossible to recreate the incident in sport mode due to the heavy ghosting, but I don't want anything resembling that affecting other players...

I'll keep practicing though, maybe I get better.

Race A is over so quick (avg. 5:10 - 5:20 mins) that you can join Race B or C in time. That's one advantage of a ridiculously short race.

Although kind of painful for people wanting to race multiple in a row with a wait time of over 10 mins between. It's a pity given how fun the 800 is to drive. You could double the number of laps to 10 and still have time left over...

I think you can have your dailies this week. B is a lot worse than last week, narrower track means harder to avoid the idiots and hooligans.
C is booring.
I guess it's livery 3ditor for me now.
And I havent missed more than 3 days this year.
The penalty system has let us down and killed all meaningful racing (exception may early mornings)

This is madness! THIS IS SpaTA!

So, I just couldn't resist the call of Spa... I have never raced the track till they added it to GTS, and I think I have only seen a couple of races there. But for some reason, it's found a place in my heart. I did some more qualifying laps with the R.S.01, and managed to drop it by over 2 seconds. That put me P5/20. Holy crap! Another mixed DR/D/C grid.. my guys almost never come out to play on the hard stuff. I guess the new crop of players are a bit more adventurous. I figured my start position should have me in a good place.

Race starts, and I'm in a crap place... mid bloody chicane... AGAIN! :banghead:. I manage to make T1 ok, but I get a bit wobbly coming out of Raidillon. I'm grabbing gears up and down like a madman desperately trying to stop it from getting sideways. I'm passed by 3 cars. I managed to finish the lap and re-gain a position.

Things kinda went downhill from there. I was pushed off and spun by another car.. not deliberate, just the track conditions and DR/Ds in action . After some more shenanigans with dirty wet tyres, I have dropped down to P15 .

I spend the rest of the race focused on just trying to stay on the track, and managed to gain a few positions. The last 3 laps were progressively worse as on corners any throttle input more than a trickle results in the end stepping out. I had passed a guy to get P12, and he pitted last lap. I was 20s ahead, but I had to tip toe round that last lap, spun a couple of times. If the race hadn't timed out, I recon he would have caught up :nervous:.

SR blue, DR down 170. Another day above DR 1 :scared:.

Maybe I should just play Stardew Valley this week. Farming sounds a lot more peaceful than the spa.

The little Toyota is fun as hell to rip around in. Although this track is used alot, this car makes it feel like a fresh combo. To bad i wont dare race till i know i don't have to play bumper cars lol current qt is 1.00.737

Edit: down to a .657

Just done a few laps around each of this week's daily's. I'm going to skip them too. A race seems fun & I'm surprised how nimble the car is but feel people will use others as a berm to make the corner. B race will be carnage and C is like driving on ice, fun but I'm nowhere near competitive. So lobbies it is 👍

Just ran two B's on an alt account, started P5 both times. First race got bumped by an un-ghosting car just before last corner and knocked from P3 to around P10. Got an apology.
2nd race, P5 > P3.
CRB on both races. The bits of the races that I saw were reasonably clean, though a little rough. They were DR B-C rooms so a slight lack of racecraft is to be expected. Too many Meganes and Megane Trophies though.

Between the two, got just under 1000 DR points.

So that's where my DR points went.. :P

Well, the two first races I had where early, they where clean. The two last where clean in the top 4, then chaos in the midfield.
