Is it a coincidence that the penalties return and the following week we get Bathurst?

That dooeeesn't look very "dairy" to me.![]()
Well that's a pity. To be honest, x3 fuel and fuel saving didn't really check out as I was writing the post. Don't get why they're suddenly allergic to strategy, FIA races have been losing variety in strategies as well latelyYep, PD generally don't tend to change multipliers but it's the case with Gr.3 Bathurst next week. Previous multipliers back in March were 6x fuel, 9x wear and a choice of H or M tyres.
The likely reason for the change is to bring up to date with almost all Race Cs in the past months: straight up races to the finish line with little to no strategy involved. Kind of a disappointment, I'd like to see races back with multiple strategies rather than "forcing" one on everyone. Although at least it isn't another Gr.4 race.
Any guesses on what the meta will be for next week's Gr.3 at Bathurst? It's been so long since we last got this combo that I've forgotten. The Supra probably, right?
.
With that said, someone always finds a way to make an unpopular car competitive.
I was consistently faster in the Mustang than in anything else. Added bonus is that I only saw two others so far this week.Which cars are good at Nürburgring GP other than 911, R8 and Mercedes
Usually you. I know I'll be starting off with the Mustang....it makes me feel dirty, but it's tradition..
Guilty pleasure
You know you love the Ford![]()
I think that depends on how well you manage your tyres and fuel. Spa was supposed to be a no stopper, yet some people needed to refuel and others pitted for fresh tyres.

I’m pretty sure it was the Nissan GTR that was the Meta last time.
I remember rolling it over at the top of the hill, but I can’t seem to find the video now lol.
Edit: Found it!

View attachment 886533 Have the rules changed? I supposed to be DR A once over 30k points
Edit: my SR B might have something to do with it...?

Yes it does have something to do with it. When you go from one DR rank to the next, your SR cannot be lower than the next DR rank. So SR D cannot rank up to DR C, SR C cannot rank up to DR B, etc.View attachment 886533 Have the rules changed? I supposed to be DR A once over 30k points

That's interesting, I'm still skeptical though. x7 tire wear on hards is a typical setting for Gr.3 race C and if you can tire save well, pace loss will be minimal as the decreasing fuel load will make up for most of it. Traffic will be an issue too because Bathurst is quite narrow.I thought much the same that this race would be another gr3 no stopper but I briefly tested the pitstop loss earlier and was surprised to find it's less than 4 seconds in group 3 compared to around 7 in group 4.
I'm not sure what sort of shape the tyres will be in come the last few laps but I can imagine that a fresh set of tyres on lap 4-5 will be worth more than 4 seconds over 2nd half of race.
Think maybe more strategy involved than it first looks.

It's very underrated in my opinion. It used to be a problem in twisty parts, but setting the BB to the rear makes it turn in just fine. Off throttle turn in is good too.@RacingGrandpa you absolute legend!

I'm really liking the Mustang! It's really consistent and quick, once you're used to it.
Thank you for the recommendation!![]()
I was going for the 15 achievement last week, got it to 8 twice. Good driving! My clean streak is now at 11.
Actually turning out to be my longest clean streak. 👍
