Tires are dead after 4 laps at race C. With any car
I`ve tried different BB. Short shift. Smooth steering. Soft braking but...
RX-VISION. -2BB. Release the throttle at the apexes for the rear to rotate. As the car begins to point forward, mash the throttle. Takes practice, but the car is consistent in this combo. Tyres wear even. So, it's not like you're worried with understeer or oversteer.

Weight distribution is 48:52. Gets balanced with tyre wear and fuel use.

you may have already figured this out, but the RX-Vision has probably the best tire wear in Gr.3. And yeah, as others have mentioned, it's terrible at acceleration but once it gets up to speed it has a pretty high top end...it's just not usable in most combos. I ran it for one season and I didn't really enjoy it much except for the combos with high tire multipliers. The biggest problem is that it suffers in qualy, but you basically lose almost no pace when the tires "wear."

Bought the gr3 beetle at the start of the week for race C and have amassed 26 wins with it over the course of the week to my surprise, this nearly doubled my total wins. It is now my most winning car which is kind of embarrassing haha. There's a certain art to slinging a car around the sausage curbs at Laguna and the beetle just shines for this imo, once it's turned in and you know your on line hammer down and let the traction take over. Was odd to see some other quick drivers struggle with it in my lobbies and it really didn't seem to be a popular choice despite its potential this week.

Having the Beetle is your most winning car is fine, at least it's a race car. Spare a thought this way, I started the week with a grand total of 5 wins, & 5 poles. Now I'm at 40 wins & 57 Poles. The car is the formidable Mazda Demio. Ha ha. Managed to maintain an S SR all week too, Race A has been great fun this week.

What? Whatcha gonna do? I just went for the car I was probably going to like least on that track due to the braking setup.
I'm wrong more than I'm right on those. Nice to guess properly for once

Just tried some corners, this is a meme race for sure

Get ready for Tokyo Ping Pong. Started from 12 no qualy. Stayed clean until the Pepe le'Peugeot RCZ ahead of me, doesn't get the hint that they should brake for a couple turns. Sliiiiide BAM! Sliiiide BAM!

I keep my distance. It's in 5th. I'm 6th. LAst SLiiiiide BAM!... I can't slow quick enough to evade. I've got to go to the right of it. Nope. It crosses right into me and I get 2 seconds to serve on the last lap. Finished 5th.

Well, as was pointed out above, The RX-V is actually a rocket. Didn't notice this before. Holy snaps! I pulled away from an RSR that was in my slipstream! I mean, I puuullllled way away from the start of the straight, to the braking zone. i think an AMG or C7 1-2 seconds behind me on one of the last laps. I watched the distance seconds rise so quickly. That was crazy. Thought I'd be hunted down.
I alos caught a SUpra and Huracan like I was in an F1 or one of the Fords. DOn't tell anyone.

Oh.. and I'm back down to A/A with that one penalty.

Edit: HAd enough of the shennanigans. ONe lap

Hopefully I don't get smashed at T1.
Edit2: Got smashed at T1.

Man, race A is fun, but totally messy. Definitely a race to use an account you dont care about, unless you are in good lobbies. Definitely a fun challenge. Race C is a straight no stop. I revved the nuts off the car and was looking to be maybe 2pct short. Short shifted for half a lap in the 16 GTR and that covered it. It also mostly repaired my SR. CRB worth 18 points for race C. Havent managed one in race A yet so dont know.

Race A is good fun but so many over aggressive drivers who can't control their car under braking...
I qualified between two races, with a 1 sec track limit penalty served and started p4. By the first penalty zone I served 5.5 second for penalties inflicted on me by others.
Still I was number 7 going into Mulsanne... And 4 across the line...
Be weary if you race it. But it's fun!

Can't really see it in the replay, but I got pushed once at the start of the braking zone. Then I got barrelled into again once I gathered it and took you along with me. Sorry about that. Was trying to keep it single file through T1, but you know how it is, it's a game of chance.
It wasn't you. The Ford GT started it. I made sure to give cars behind a view to brake. When the GT hit you, it moved you slightly left. The Peugeot was braking and just that bit of you getting bumped, took away it's braking distance.
Peugeot hit you into me.

Funnily enough, I thanked the Peugeot for a clean race. Not knowing it hit you, until I watched the replay. Anyway, the Peugeot raced fair as can be seen from my view. The GT was still wild when braking and knocks the Peugeot into the tolls at Turn 1.

Amazed I got a CRB. Let alone coming back from last.

No qualy. Get a good start. Hang back a bit for T1-T3. Then, it happens. I get clobbered from the side and eat kitty litter for last place. Pass three cars that served penalties. I get a penalty at Indianpolis for cautiously navigating the turns. I didn't even touch a curb and it was only me in P3 with P1 having a 2 second penalty and no penalty for P2. We were within 1.5 seconds of each other.

I was able to beat P2 with 3rd gear acceleration before the PZ. Sped through Porsche and Corvette. My .5 penalty kept my momentum. Finish P1 from pretty much last. Maybe I should take myself out at the start and drive back up through the field each time.

Now, I'm down to A/B. WHat the hell?

Race B is fun, but **** ME the penalties...

I got punted in a corner, I got the penalty. When serving the penalty, then I get punted again because I’m slower (even off the raving line), and get another penalty.

I was close to getting bump drafted too, but managed to swerve out of the way

FFS fix it

Um this weeks dailies doesn't look like it will be a good for me. Not expecting anything at all but will count it as a win if my SR is still S by the end of it.

Ah sounds like a racing incident then. I'll admit I did brake slightly earlier out of caution. I just knew as soon as I felt a bump from behind: 'here we go straight into the back of another GTP member'. Never something you want.

Aside from that. Anyone know what the points ratio is for an SR down vs SR up? It's weird that I'm still getting a red SR post race, when I get one SR down early and are totally clean the rest of the way. 4 sectors SR up per lap for 4 laps should surely be enough to balance that out?

All good.

Well, RAce A is wild. I outbraked myself and was smashing this one player for trying to squeeze me into the barriers down Hounduras...Hunnumdrum..AttliatheHun straight. I went straight through the kitty litter, back on the track, with no track reset or penalty.

This next race, this player got robbed. I never robbed anyone in my life... and I'm from The Bronx! Serious;y, I got two penalties and pipped this player on the last corner. That's why 3rd gear is my best friend. He just bounced off the limiter in 2nd and I snatched the win. That was messed up.

Hey! All I did was place a bet and get lucky!:D

Gonna skip right past Race C this week thanks to the totally inspired and original combo they never selected before. Will find out what my groove is between Race A and Race B. Expected Race A to restrict tires to Sports Hard but interesting to see the Soft compounds this time around. Softer tires allow for dirtier moves but we'll see how I do.

So I am already a bit fed up with Race B, there seems to be something about walls that encourages other drivers to squeeze you into them for some reason, idiots! Sigh

So I figured I would try Race C but I don't have a GR 2 car. So a question for the experts:. Of the ones available which is the most stable in terms of getting around a lap. Not bothered about fastest I just want to be able to learn the race and stay on the track (speed can wait for now.)
