I am trying soo hard to fit Dead Rising into my gaming schedule but it just seems impossible lately. Too many great games out to stay ahead! I will get back to this game hopefully within the next couple weeks.

Probably a silly question, but how do you unlock the 5 Day and 7 Day Survivor achievments? Are they only unlockable in the Infinity Mode?

Yes only available when you unlock "Infinity mode"

I think I finally have a full weekend that I can put into this game. Or at least a day or 2. I have been wanting to play it forever but got side tracked with about 20 other games. Now its finally time to chop some zombies up again. :sly:

I spent about 5 hours playing this on saturday and I just could not get back into it. Sold it on sunday.

I bought this at the weekend and I'm having so much fun! Brad just died on me so I obviously can't complete the main storyline this time around, but I don't care. I'm having so much fun just killing zombies. I'd rather just spend the 72 hours killing thousands of zombies.

I think this will keep me busy for a while. It might just satisfy my lust for pointless savage violence until the new GTA is out later this year.

^Yeah that happenend to me too, when the mission : Save the Professor comes around, I go to the gun shop, but then there is the crazy guy in there, so I grab a gun from out side, but when I get there, Carlito just wont DIE....:grumpy: I need help, after that, I was so frustrated, I broke my wireless controller. :scared:

You'll find Police Zombies around that carry guns. Go collect a few of them, then go and fight Carlito. Hide behind the pillars you get around the edges of the top floor to block his shots, then shoot when you see he isn't looking. That's how I done it first time.

Just got this game used today. It is the sex! I picked it up as a last minute disicion over ranbow 6 las vegas. I have the rainbow 6 las vegas online demo so I just play that. But yea i played it for 2 hours today i am on level 4 and I saved for the first night in the security room. I refuse to go down there with all the night zombies! Oh, and i downloaded all the free clothes off xbox live.

I completed it right through to the true ending a few days ago and managed to post the 328th best score. I had about 5,500,000 but there's guys with scores of 20+ million. How the hell can you rack up those kind of scores in the time it takes to play through the game?

After 2 months this game isnt getting old. I play about 5 hours a week and I am planning to make a fort/barricade out of stuff in Paradice plaza between the cd store and the big toy store.

Well, I've progressed nicely in this game before my 360 broke, I'm pretty much halfway through, its really fun! Also, Its easiest just to get behind carlito and beat the snot out of him with a lead pipe... it looks funny too! :D

But yeah, it does get old after a while, and you need to take a break from it!

Dead Rising co-op download?

A rumour has appeared in the latest issue of EGM suggesting that Capcom will release a co-op mode for its hit zombie game (that's got nothing to do with Dawn of the Dead) Dead Rising.

The co-op mode is rumoured to be released in two different forms. The first will be with a platinum edition of the Xbox 360 game and the second as a download via Xbox Live, presumably for those that already own the game and don't want a co-op mode enough to pay out for the game again.

Capcom has yet to comment on the rumours so take this one with a pinch of flesh for the time being.

That would make me want to play it again. Right now, it's just mindless zombie killing, and beating it once was enough to make me not want to play much more. :indiff:

It could allow people to get much further in the game, so they can unlock the overtime mode and the mode after that.

YES! Finally some great news. This is the best piece of information I have heard about the game. I have been waiting for a co-op expansion for so long. I wonder if the download will cost any microsoft points?

I just heard about this rumor too. If it is true it would be great news depending on how well the co-op worked. I enjoyed this game a lot but had a hard time staying focused on the missions. I just had fun killing zombie after zombie. Then by that time the story already failed and I was screwed. It would be nice to have a co-op partner that actually knew how to get through the campaign. I dont know if any of this will work that way but it sure would get me buy the game again if it did. 👍

Hopefully Co-Op works through the single player missions before Overtime and the mode after that, because I want to unlock the unlimited time mode with no missions.

Has anyone thought of how cool it will be to have the Humvee driven by one person, and the other person on the gun turret? That's going to be quite fun. ;)
