Yeah, me too :( The moment it was announced the bad news killed the will to play the game :ouch: But I'm planning to return playing at a certain point next year, since I want to do a playthrough of the game for my Youtube channel before uninstall it :)

I play every day on PS5 with a T300, Clubs only. Some of my regular clubs are (I only play hardcore damage to prevent wall riders, all of the below are hardcore damage, most allow tuning and assists if that's your thing):

Global Rally Fans
Rally Exhibition
Mythical
Group Rally 2
IWRC
JG Cup
ProjectSimracingPL
The Fly By
Craig Breen Cup
Weather Report (currently 1st place on the leaderboard)
Martys
Welsh WRC
V WRC Classics and V WRC Competitions (IMO the BEST user created rallies of them all)

I recommend any and all of the above to people here, especially the V WRC clubs. Currently working my way through Sweden in the Xara kit car.
Rally Exhibition is also a brutal slog. I ruined my overall time by rolling my car on its roof after the finish line and the game didn't reset me. I waited 20 minutes before giving up and restarting the game only to find that it logged no time for me. Usually as soon as I cross the finish line I yeet the car into the crowd as it ends the stage quicker but I won't be doing that anymore.
To find me on the leaderboads my user is Kurtf5

Chile, Bio-Bio, set to winter, light snow.

Personally weapon of choice for this would be the 2001 Impreza or DS3.
It's just shame that wet Chile is also broken along with wet NZL(Oceania)

Also I dont know if there's any plans with what the next season could be. BUT I've made a list of cars which appear in both Gran Turismo games and Colin McRae games, so that could be something fun?

How is it broken?
Basically the wet gravel acts more like wet tarmac. It's too grippy. It's an old bug that was patched but it reappeared on one of the dlc updates. And it wasnt patched again, and then EA dropped WRC

First WRC Generations and now this?

Why the heck can't someone release a good rally game that delivers a half-decent amount of support?

I was excited to grab WRCG after a 20-sum-year break but within a year EA's WRC became "necessary" 'cause the former was abandoned, and now this?

Ayayayayay...

Can't say I've ever noticed any issues on Chile or Oceania in the wet. Last time I drove both it felt like an ice rink. PS5 only.
While the game doesn't have any support anymore, as long as they keep the Clubs servers running it's still a great rally experience. As a console player I'd love a remaster of DR2 so we have more options but I think that would've happened by now if it was going to. The offroad tracks on GT7 feel like Sega Rally by comparison

I came back to this game yesterday after a 6 month break, moments will no longer load for me,just says searching for server, are they gone now the game has officially ended

I have come back to the game during the last fortnight to clear some of the moments I had missed and they were all loading fine for me (PS5).

Haven't been on the game since Wednesday or Thursday last week: can't imagine anything has been turned off since then, but I'll have a look later on.

Gran Turismo has always (in my opinion) been very weak on the off road side of things. It is a subject that has been discussed to death now, but I still can't believe Pikes Peak agreed to an exclusive license with Polyphony for the track. Absolute waste.

I have EA WRC and DR2.0 installed on my PS5; despite it's flaws I still think EA WRC is the best console rally experience to date and I have DR2.0 for the rallycross side of things (as an aside, I think DR2.0 is the best representation of rallycross in a game we have - and are probably ever likely to - seen)

It is drifting off topic a bit, but I am saddened that Gran Turismo has fallen by the wayside for me. It is a series that I grew up playing and helped establish my love of cars, but after I tried ACC I had no absolutely no desire to play GT6 again and I am still yet to try GT7.

Once I have filled in all the blanks with the moments I have missed I intend to play through a few WRC and WRC2 Championships with a few of my favourite cars.

Still love the game, playing club events and messing with timetrials.

Just for my own amusement I'm in the middle of doing a test which will take a while lol.
I'm doing the first section of the Parnassos stage in Greece which encompasses two lots of double harpins. I record the footage, one from the cockpit view as I drive it, then another from the outside replay.
I'm doing it with every car in the game to see the differences.

Dont know sadly, I only drive in clubs

Hi just to say I’ve tried it again today and I had to agree to the ea agreement terms again and now I have access to the moments again,so all good

All my regular clubs seem to be doing Croatia this week. My most hated location. Just so boring, endless hairpin after hairpin, boring scenery, just an irritating place to drive. None of the straights are long enough to let you stretch your legs a bit because yet another hairpin is coming up, or a barely visible concrete barrier or random signpost. I'd take Japan over it, at least that changes things up in areas and has some fun technical sections. Made extra boring in a modern 4WD car too.

as someone who tends to play Chile in the wet or snow because it’s the closest we have to GB, I’ve never noticed this. Maybe the physics are slightly off compared to how a car should behave on wet gravel, I’m not saying they’re not - but I’ve played this repeatedly since the updates and I think it’s perfectly okay myself.

Turns out I've been tuning dampers wrong for months. Some guy on the FB group said fast bump only applies to jumps, so I'd always leave it default or make it slightly firmer, how wrong was I. The difference between default and -5 at Kenya makes a massive difference and you go from bouncing all over the place to gliding over the track. For Kenya in the Fabia rally 2 I've dropped slow and fast to -5, rebound to -3, max ride height and mostly soft suspension and it rides great now.

I feel robbed!
I got it on PS5 from some PSStore sale and almost felt that way until I replayed it after months over the weekend and game had tearing issues...I also got it on super sale from steam to play in VR, but still don't have the GPU i need for running VR games...so there's still some hope for this version, but im about ready to delete it off my PS5 and will probably reinstall WRC8 or 9

I have the ”old version” with some of the DLC ( not all ).
If I download this version, do you think my save file will work?
Save file should be fine, you’re basically downloading the permission to use DLC content. If you lose access to that content in the future the game is designed to account for this (usually with something like “you don’t own this car, pick something else”).

I hear ya mate.

Hope to give this a go sometime this week, was pleasantly surprised to see it as a PS plus game for the month. Hopefully, it'll recognize my Logitech G29.
